[Windows Explorer afphoto Thumbnails]

Is this possible to display thumbnails of afphoto files as mini image preview in Windows Explorer (Win10) sort of like jpegs, tiffs, raw images, etc.?

Well then, so I deleted everything that had anything to do with AP in Preferences of LR and then re-entered, saved it and re-started LR. Seems to be working fine. Looks like caching of setup in LR preferences??? Don't know, don't care, it works.

Preferences is pointing to C:\Program Files\Affinity\Affinity Photo\Photo.exe which is 1.5.0.45.

I think it is something with LR Preferences that does not accept change to the new path to executable.

Will play little bit more and will let you know.

My system:

Win 10

AP 1.5.0.45

LR CC

 

When AP is configured as external editor in LR it seems that LR does not start AP and (obviously) external editing does not happen. All I'm getting is another copy of my image in LR.

This used to work in LR 6.8 and AP beta for windows.
