I've run into even stranger ,ones where the curve disappears once the boolean function is used, and it looks like it's been auto-deleted.
 

Right clicking > "Open Template for Edit" on my custom template in "New Document" window does not open as .aftemplate for editing, it will be opened as "Untitled" instead
My current fix is just File > Saving as Template for that Untitled document to replace old template.

New update to chack out and I'm on it.

With the Vector Brush Tool selected, Set the Controller dropdown in the context toolbar to Pressure (if you are using a pen/tablet), Velocity (if using a  mouse) or Automatic to register the pressure. Edit/change it using the Pressure profile pop-up.

how hard is it to make a line ending as an arrow, come on.... tiny upgrade please

Is move tool going to work more like free transform in Photoshop? I'm not gonna lie, and this is one of the basic tools that work great in PS and doesn't have a real equivalent in Affinity.
Edit: Just watched the clip and it's not the case this time.

We are pleased to announce the first update for Affinity Designer for Windows (version 1.5.1).
 
The update is described here and can be downloaded from here. Once downloaded, close Affinity Designer and run (double click) the downloaded EXE to install it.
 
To install this version you will need to have the Affinity Designer for Windows already installed OR you will need to type in your email address and a valid Product key when prompted. When installing on top of an existing version you will not be prompted for the product key. If you need it you can find your product key (and a download button) in your Affinity store account, where you will also find the email address used to generate the key when you ordered the software. 
 
If you have installed any previous beta version of Affinity Designer 1.5.0 or 1.5.1, it can be safely uninstalled before or after installing this release update, they are independent installs. The beta will stop working soon anyway.

They are already on our roadmap. 
We are aware there's still some basic features missing but Affinity Designer is still also very recent. It's not possible to implement everything at once. Please bear with us while we work on it.
