DavidDoesAffinity reacted to jmwellborn in reward for beta-testers and suggestion makers?
No they don’t. They deserve a pat on the back. But so do the developers. One huge thank you for putting up with some strange comments mixed in with thousands of potentially helpful forum entries. Nobody is required to be on these forums. I consider it a distinct privilege and also a matter of great satisfaction that I may possibly have helped in a miniscule way to making Publisher the wonderful product it is — and was from the start back on August 30. It never WAS “terrible.”

DavidDoesAffinity got a reaction from walt.farrell in Straight lines 10x too thick?
NOT minus 2 pt it was a badly placed dash. I will sort out some screenshots later with the main content removed
UPDATE - started from scratch and all OK- then removed and replaced original lines and all now OK. No idea what I had done wrong but will try to recreate when time permits.

Some people have way too much time on their hands  ...Jamon FYI as you may have missed it, this is an AFFINITY forum. It is a bit of a bummer with all this talk of graphic software and not a mention of how to cook Duck Chinese Style but that's the way it is. ;)

DavidDoesAffinity reacted to Aussie4220 in Order for adjustments?
I am very new to the world of photo editing and production. I am working my way through the Affinity tutorials and i have been going back through the first 6 sections just to get a "comfort" with regard to the multiple processes introduced.
When editing my own pics, unless there are obvious corrections to be made , is there a "general" sequence or order to follow with regard to adjustments ie do you tend to start with "Brightness and Contracts" first, followed by ........... or are there certain things that should be done before other things and not the reverse?
Any assistance or direction on this would be most appreciated.
Thank you
