Hi Affinity guys, when I have created a text frame with a filler text, it is not possible to select a single word in the text frame. It always selects the complete filler text in the frame. Is this per design or is it a bug? Please find the attached screenshot. Thank you very much for a short response and best wishes. Hartmut

Unbelievable mystery, the issue with the download URLs. But it could be so easy - 2 examples: If you want to browse to Google, the corresponding URL is https://google.com... If you want to browse to the Affinity website, the corresponding URL is https://affinity.serif.com... Why do you have a problem with providing a corresponding URL to the resource downloads of the Workbook? You are a Software Development Company ! What is the problem? There are a lot of people who bought the Workbook and they are complete frustrated regarding this download issue. PLEASE HELP !!! And please: only complete URLs - no fragments. Thank you very much in advance (maybe for a new thread with only this information?)... Hardy

Hallo liebes Affinity Team, als Kunde und Workbook Käufer kann ich es gar nicht glauben, dass so eine innovatives Unternehmen wie Serif nicht in der Lage ist einen Download Link auf die im Workbook angegebenen Resourcen korrekt auf ein Stück Papier oder vielleicht sogar in dieses Forum zu bringen. Stattdessen gibt es nur teilweise URL Fragmente, ohne Informationen welches Protokoll zu Grunde liegt (HTTP oder HTTPS). Die Angaben im Buch stimmen nicht eine komplette URL wird nicht angeboten und hier im Forum ist auch nichts brauchbares zu finden. :wacko: EIgentlich dachte ich, dass die Downloads ein Bestandteil des Workbooks sind, dessen Nutzung man quasi mitbezahlt hat. Hier müsste mal das Qualitätsmanagement ran. Es ist halt nicht nur mit dem erstklassigen Design getan. Auch die Inhalte sollten nutzbar für den Kunden sein. Ich habe mich sehr auf das Buch gefreut und schiebe jetzt eigentlich nur Frustration. :( Es kann doch nicht so schwer sein einen Thread zum Workbook zu erstellen, in dem nur eine einzige Information zu finden ist: Die komplette und korrekte URL zu den Resourcen. Keine Leserkommentare - nichts weiter nur eine kurze Info und alle sind wieder Glücklich. Vielen Dank. :) Hardy Übrigens: In irgendeinem Thread hier wird behauptet, dass in der deutschen Ausgabe des Workbooks die URLs sogar mit "HTTPS://" angegeben wären. Stimmt nicht ! Hi there, it would be great if it would be possible to rotate a guideline so that it is possible to adjust an angle. In an old version of Corel Draw it was possible to rotate the guidelines by moving one endmarker of it in the ruler. (Please find the attached jpg on the bottom) This was a very easy way to freely place and adjust the guidelines. Regards Hardy

Same problem with my Windows 10 (German). With 1.5.0.39 everything was fine...! Bug report was send. Please find the attached screen shot... (unhandled exception error) Thanks in advance for a short reply from Serif. *************************************************************** Just found a workaround in another post: Holding down the control-key while the program starts will reset your user settings and everything works fine again ;) :) ***************************************************************
