The crashes occur with sRGB tiff files. When I use Adobe RGB as color space in the DxO export options, I can merge the resulting tiff files to HDR in Affinity Photo. Mike's screenshots gave me the idea. The original nef files where shot with color space Adobe RGB.

I uploaded three example 8 bit tiff files that caused a crash, when I tried to make a HDR combination. My system is Windows 7. I used DxO Optics pro 11 to create these tiff files (export of converted Nikon D7000 nef files).

The hdr tool works with tiff files (8or 16 bit) developed by Affinity Photo itself from nef files. Maybe the hdr tool doesn't accept all tiff files. Photo persona has no problem with tiff files from DxO optics pro.

Hi, when I load three tiff files (created by DxO Optics pro) for a new hdr combination Affinity Photo 1.5.0.38 crashes with an error code 0xC0000005. This happens with 8 bit and 16 bit tiff files. The hdr tool works when I load jpeg or nef files.

Hi, fine that this version supports the Nik plugins for 16 bit tiff files now. I have a problem with Nik's Sharpener Pro: When I sharpen a 16 bit tiff file with overexposed highlights and add some structure in Sharpener Pro I get ugly artifacts. It does not happen when I do the same sharpening for a jpeg or 8 bit tiff file of the same image. It also doesn't happen when do the same sharpening of the same 16 bit file in a different plugin host like Paintshop Pro X8 or Zoner Photo Studio 17. Regards, dke
