  1. @pefunk: Thanks for the information. It would be fine to have an 'export to external editor' option like in On1 Photo Raw in Affinita Photo too. I made a feature request: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/86103-affinity-photo-should-allow-to-export-images-to-external-editors/&tab=comments#comment-455729 Regards, dke
  2. Many Photoshop plugins do not work correctly in Affinita Photo. With an option to send files from Affinity Photo to other external editors we could work around problems with standalone working plugins very comfortable. Regards, dke
  3. I can confirm that Luminar Flex doesn't open in 1.7.0.333. In 1.6.5.135 Luminar Flex works but returns wrong colors to Affinity Photo. I use 16-bit tiff files and sRGB IEC61966-2.1. @pefunk: With which kind of files (jpg?, tiff?, other?) does Luminar Flex work as expected and which color profile do you use? Regards, dke
  4. Thanks a lot Patrick. I can use my preferred (user defined) dpi setting of 115% now and HSL works. Regards, dke
  5. look here Dave https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/5990-change-dpi-scaling-level-displays-windows-10-a.html Regards, dke
  6. Congrats Patrick. It seems that you have found the reason for the problems. When I set DPI to the standard setting of 100% HSL is working. I need a higher setting for my old eyes. If Windows allows me a setting of 120% then Affinity Photo should of course do that too. Regards, dke
  7. I use only one screen and a DPI setting of 120%. Regards, dke
  8. Uninstalling and new installing of beta 1.7.0. 284 didn't solve the problem. I have uploaded a dump. The betas 1.7.0.256 and 1.7.0.258 didn't work with files from my D7200. So I don't know wether the HSL problem is new in beta *.284. Beta *.251 worked for me (HSL included). Regards, dke
  9. I tried different images (jpg and tiff) from different cameras and softwares. The problem is not image specific. As soon as I try to use HSL beta 1.7.0.284 freezes and doesn't respond. Even when I develop a raw image in beta 1.7.0.284 and click on HSL afterwards AP freezes.
  10. Beta 1.7.0.284 freezes when I open an image and try to use HSL. My system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Regards, dke
  11. Tiff files from my D7200 that are saved by DxO Photolab are also accepted by Beta 1.7.0.284 now. Good job.
  12. Several people have this problem. Exif data are involved. One question: Is your system Windows 7? Here is another thread:
  13. I tried older betas and must correct myself: The problem already existed in version 1.7.0.256 beta. With version 1.7.0.251 I could open all nef and tiff files. Tony77 has the same problem as I:
  14. I tried your nef file Tony77 and see that you have the same problem as I reported in this thread: I cannot open nef files from my D7000 and D7200 and tiff files saved by DxO Photolab. In all cases Affinity Photo simply disappears without an error message. Regards, dke
  15. My problem has to do with EXIF data. When I delete the EXIF data from the attached tiff file in my first posting everthing is OK.
  16. No, that's not the reason for my problems. When I copy a nef file into the base directory of drive C I still cannot open it.
  17. Thanks. I unstalled Beta 1.7.0.258, deleted manually the directory 1.0(Beta) under user/appdata/roaming/affinity/photo and installed Beta 1.7.0.258 completely new, but the problem persists. I cannot open most tiff files saved by DxO Photolab and I cannot open nef files of my D7200 and my D7000. It is strange.
  18. Thanks people. My problem still persists. I cannot open tiff files saved by DxO Photolab with AP 1.7.0.258 beta. In the meanwhile I found crash reports (see attached file). 6d26a781-c77b-4568-be28-15ba58273232.dmp
  19. When I try to open tiff files saved by DxO Photolab 2.2 AP Beta 1.7.0.258 crashes (it simply disappears). The problem is new. I could open the same files in Beta 1.7.0.256 and I can open them in the official version 1.6.5.135. My system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Regards, dke Nanzdietschweiler_270219_02_DxO.tif
  20. The Highlights Strength slider has definitely no effect here - independent from the Highlights Range.
  21. The Highlights Strength slider has no effect in the 'normal' Shadows /Highlights filter and in the live filter. In the live filter there is a strange preview (see attached image). My system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
  22. Hi mykee, I suppose that only plugins with format 8bf can work with Affinity Photo. Black and White Projects 5 works in AP with the plugin from the CC folder. Older versions of Black & White Projects don't work as a plugin in Affinity Photo. To test if a plugin works in AP, just copy its folder somewhere on your disk, add the path of this folder in AP's Photoshop Plugins configuration, allow there the usage of unknown plugins and restart AP.
