MX Master is the model, firmware version is 011.000.00012. I can avoid using the horizontal scroll but uninstalling the "Logitech Options" really isn't practical; I have rheumatoid arthritis which has impaired the flexibility of my hands, making the original locations of some frequently used function buttons extremely difficult to utilize. I also volunteer as photo archivist at the Montana Military Museum near Helena. In that position most of my work, other than digitizing historic photos, involves restoration work on the scanned images. Some of those date back to the 1880's when Fort Harrison, where the museum is located, was first established before Montana became a state. Even many of the more recent photos, i.e. WWII vintage, are scanned from private albums loaned to us by families and the best of these need some work before I print them for exhibit. One photo of the 1910 Montana National Guard national champion rifle team was mounted on some kind of hard board that was warped and had a wavy crack entirely across the width, including through all the faces in one row. It took over 30 hours of work to restore. Bought my current mouse after that job as the left click button on the old Logitech was wearing out.
