  1. Thanks for help. I feel if I were trying rather than having bought the program I would have given up with the way this export works. It doesn't help that the mac tutorials differ from windows program in some places, enough to cause a lot of problems for me at times. Where there are these difference’s they need showing or really need different Windows ones if there are differences between the programs. I now get what its doing but feel its stupid and should show what format you have selected as clearly many of us hit this problem and locally I have never had a program act in this way (or I might have worked it out!) befor!
  2. I am lost, I am unable to save in nothing other than afphoto files no matter what format I import in. I have tried save as, export and Export Persona. I thought it might be due to having tied editing, but even after importing tiff, jpeg or raw I cannot get any other format option to save as. I have reinstalled and tried the current beta so its something I am doing or not doing
  3. Opening a CR2 gets no focuing information i.e. focus points.
  4. Focus points are a very usfull thing to have in AP
  5. I know this has been asked for befor but its really confusing the way it is now. Posters don't oftern know they need to say which program or system so many then have to be asked. In reading posts its confusing to say the least trying in many cases to work out if its at all relavent to my program.
  6. Im finding a Canon cr2 from a 5Ds (so its some 50Mb) takes vell over 10sec to load. This is the sort of time I find for tiff I have saved as well. DXO OP11 is opening the same ones in very mush less time so I hope this can be shortend a lot
  7. The forum is a nightmare to use, hopefully it will be sorted out as its nearer unusable as it is!
  8. Could the different products be more clearly separated on the forums. I get totally confused what product someone is posting about as often they neither say mac or windows or which product they are posting about. I know there is a big overlap but its very confusing as it is.
  9. Thanks there are two things that could be improved in cropping. A proper built in A ratio cropping as custom needs two, landscape and portrait and secondly the odd need to rotate the image not the cropping box I find most difficult/odd. Why not be able to rotate the cropping as I find in most programs? Found rotate now but cropping isn't very easy to use at all. Luckily I will crop in my RAW program that's easy to use then export.
  10. Much of my printing is in A ratio which isn’t supported. A crop in A ratio that can be dragged landscape or portrait would be very useful as this is the most standard paper size.
  11. I also, being new to program, also tried printing and I also crashed. Not a good start to access printer properties causing a crash! Reloaded the program and the next time it didn't crash. I tried 3 different printers and all worked. So I have no ideas what caused it to crash the first time. The only information I can find is Problem signature Problem Event Name: CLR20r3 Problem Signature 01: Photo.exe Problem Signature 02: 1.5.0.45 Problem Signature 03: 58480606 Problem Signature 04: Serif.Interop.Persona Problem Signature 05: 1.5.0.45 Problem Signature 06: 584805f0 Problem Signature 07: 7532 Problem Signature 08: c7 Problem Signature 09: System.NullReferenceException OS Version: 10.0.14393.2.0.0.768.101 Locale ID: 2057 Additional Information 1: 86b6 Additional Information 2: 86b6a8fc3f75c3297096cf7b8d92fef7 Additional Information 3: 3551 Additional Information 4: 3551f7cb786c5c3927df0431b2d09c5f Extra information about the problem Bucket ID: 7a5516761c1391a9e33ebaf87eb2f3d7 (129303760547)
  12. I have the same queries from the windows version as there is nothing shown in the welcome screen and the free macro down load is even more useless than the mac one!
