A vector eraser please!  A good example of a brilliant vector eraser is the one in Clip Studio Paint Pro‎ ( formerly Manga Studio ).  Keep up the great work!  I live the AD app.

Have changed this to an Epub for 1.5 (Updated Dec 7, 2016 with Gold Master Help File)
 
Here is a link to the Affinity Photo Help File in Epub Format for Version 1.5  (December 7, 2016) - works great in Ibooks. 

Very convenient to have in a portable format - or to use side by side with Affinity Photo on your computer.

Just download it to your ipad and pick "open in IBooks"  or download it to your computer and email it to yourself and then pick "open in iBooks" from your iPad.

Its a spectacular resource on an iPad Pro.  If you have an android tablet, go to Google Play and search for "epub reader"
 

Here is an additional palette that I created in AD from Prismcolors.  Make sure to view as "show as list".  It will give a much cleaner look at what is available.  Hope you enjoy it...

Me too, for all the reasons above!

I would like to voice my request as well. I mainly use AD for logo design as well and this would be extremely helpful. I think it would just make our lives easier and faster. 

I am requesting a vector eraser in 2016~~ Still learning AD but this should be a must have feature!

13 months later, we would like to know where we can find the vector eraser. Is it only on the Common Feature Requests INDEX or hidden in the app?

It's fair to say that there will be a vector eraser in the future - all the code is already there except for just one tiny little bit that you wouldn't even think was that important - and it's that one little bit that changes the whole thing from being 'just another' implementation to a proper implementation - so until I can get that working (i.e. after I've delivered everything else I've promised, hehe) then it has to sit in my list - but at least it's there! :)

The graphic tablet eraser workflow is great and very intuitive but having the ability to edit a vector path after erasing would kick it up a notch. Sometimes you want to adjust you're shaking, hand drawn eraser stroke...

Just thought it'd be nice to have an eraser tool in the vector/curves persona. Being able to erase part of a vector shape is really nice feature when you don't want to be doing everything manually by using the pen tool.
