Hello, to all. we trust all is well
Quick question. How does one remove the magenta outline the surrounds a shape when using the "Node Tool"? We're currently working on our logo & when we use the "Node Tool" we get that outline. Its a real distraction and we would love to turn it off if possible.
Thanks

We were having the same issue. Started AP while holding the option key and reset everything and the problematic file blazed in with no issue. Still testing to see how AP when respond while pushing a few pixels. More to come.

Thanks for the update — looking forward to all the completions. As I have stated before in their beta stage AP, AD and soon APub are better than anything Adobe aka "Adon'tBe". We use both AD and AP almost every day in the rebranding of Lucidmoth. Honestly, we've been highly satisfied with the end result. Please keep up the good work & thank to all involved in that work.

We love this feature!

Thank you — We [Lucid Moth] are so pleased with the product you've created. You truly are a blessing in the HELLISH Nightmare known as "Adobe" a.k.a "Adon'tBe". Truth be told — we haven't been this excited about a creative software in a very long time. We honestly love what you guys are doing. I mean we — absolutely — love the Affinity Eco–System. Even at the beta stage Affinity is so much better than the final stage of Adobe's creative suite.
CS6 is the reference point — F()!K CC or whatever the hell it's called.
Whats truly nice is that the forum are filled with lovers of the product. Lovers, that are actually participating in the shaping of what — I / we — can honesty call greatness. Affinity — will be [as the development continues and improvements are made] a true replacement for all things "Adobe". Hell, it has already become that for us.
Once again thank you.

Yes, I so look forward to seeing updates. I love Affinity! I'm going to say it here "I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO ADOBE". I also want to let the Affinity team know that I truly appreciate all of the hard work they are putting into the Affinity Eco-system. Its truly a great thing.

I apologize for misspelling your name.

Hello, just wanted to echo your comment about converting all of your workflow to the Affinity Eco-system. I made the exact same move and have no intention of looking back. I can't wait until the release of Affinity's DTP so I can finally remove Adon'tbe Indesign from my system. I mention this before on one of my other post — PLEASE! Affinity create an Acrobat alternative. I truly would love to purge as much Adon'tbe out of my life as possible.

Loving it— I grew up on Bugs and the crew so this is extremely nice work. You really captured the feel.

Hello,
I go by the name ONSO and it's a pleasure to meet all you. I have been a creative all my life — one that works in both traditional and digital mediums. I've been looking for an Adobe replacement for quite sometime and when I saw Affinity Designer in the Apple App store I was hooked — I downloaded it and never looked back. The only Adon'tbe software I have on my system now is Acrobat. I'm hopeful that the great team at Affinity attacks that as well. I truly want to divorce Adon'tbe all together. So, please keep doing what you guys are doing and I'm yours forever.
Thanks for giving us something better.

Hello,
I think this would be a great feature. As far as what to add I would suggest as many as possible. Really looking forward to this addition.

Thanks for the responses. It was "Snapping" one has to uncheck "Snap to object bounding box" & "Snap to object geometry". Once unchecked all little magenta outlines went away.
Thanks once again.
