Nice to have Text Styles, a feature plus but still, no linking text columns like Illustrator.

My document setup for AD and Illustrator is CMYK. Most of the time I copy the text from other applications (Microsoft Word) then paste it inside the Affinity Designer. I notice the text in AD is a mixture of CMYK colors, whereas in Adobe Illustrator when I paste the text, it's totally black (100% K). :(

I didn't know Photo can do this. It's like painted on canvas.

You say attributes. I wish there's a feature like Illustrator's attributes tool for overprint fill/stroke. In Illustrator when I export the layout to jpg/tiff, I can see the black overprint.

One of the features most of the time I use is to create trim marks. This feature (Object > Create Trim Marks) is very handy in Adobe Illustrator when I'm creating flyers, business cards, etc. for the cutting guide. Wishing on AD.

I'm using El Capitan 10.11 When I try to move objects, somehow it just vanish completely even in layers. bug.afdesign bug.mov

This takes forever when I select all geometry and click the Add in AD; so I copy-paste this in Illustrator and no problem when I unite this in pathfinder. n.afdesign

Bug? When I'm pressing tab on keyboard, the tools disappear. Looks like a default shortcut, though I'm typing, it shouldn't be there.

Oh yeah! I love this lock children tool. It will be handy for printing purposes.

Hi, Thank you for seeing the bugs. Yeah, it looks fine in a pdf preview, or placed in InDesign or as a linked file in Illustrator. Files like this are supplied by my clients and I'll just print it. Anyway, I'll wait till AD support embedded fonts. As of now, I'm using AD in making invitations, business cards, simple brochure until AD supports thread text / text wrap like in Illustrator. :P

I'm playing with the new Affinity Designer Customer Beta (1.0.21861) using the place image tool, and importing PDF files. Though it improve, but there are still problems with shadows, vector gradients, non-embedded image displayed in pdf but not showing in AD beta, and a non-outlined text in pdf doesn't display correctly in AD. Most of the time I'm creating pdf files for printing services using QuarkXpress, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. But pdf files created in AD seems fine when I import to other programs I'm using.

No problem here. I'm using Yosemite 10.10, and can see the Brush's delete option using AD Beta 21458.
