In the 2.3.1 version the problem is still not fixed. Could you please address this? It really is an extremely annoying and troublesome bug. The problem persists in AP and AD. A new major version of the Affinity apps has been developed in time. It has already had several updates. One of the reasons I purchased a licence for Affinity 2.x was the good support. Hello, I would like to fine tune the gradient to match the surroundings but I don't know how to hide the view of the lines showing the selected object. With the Moving tool there is an option to "hide the selection while drawing". I want to get this effect when moving the slider of the gradient tool. Anyone know if there is such an option?

I am also curious. How much time do we have? Anyone?

it's a huge disappointment. I prefer to have control of where I install applications. If I use the "move" function (Settings > Apps > Apps & Features selecting the Affinity App and clicking Move), will subsequent versions install in the new location or will I have to move everything each time?

Currently for batch processing you can only select files from your hard drive as a data source. I suggest extending this to include the ability to use layers created in AP. Batch processing offers tremendous possibilities, and it is difficult to point to any single application of this feature. Using it to modify a number of layers with previously created macros can significantly speed up work that would otherwise require tedious repetition of a number of steps. I would find it very useful to have a feature to add layers as a resource in batch jobs. This would give a number of new possibilities when working with layers and would speed up a lot of work significantly. Please consider adding such an option

Ok, my story is: - I was working in Affinity Designer. - I created a new web/800x600 pixel document - I created 3 Artboards using the "Artboard Tool" - I placed them next to each other - I used the File / Edit option in Photo... - I created a pixel layer using "Add pixel Layer" icon in Layers palette - video starts from here I noticed that "Invert Pixel Selection" is not working properly in Affinity Photo After your comment actually, I noticed that when I : (working with file: after2.afphoto) - Delete the last layer, so that there are only 3 empty Artboards left - Select "Artboard2" or "Artboard1" in the Layers palette, - Press ctrl+a (to select all) it shows the selection of a virtual element, which does not exist. (attached image) I think that the problem is that Affinity Photo operates on bad coordinates which it receives from Affinity Designer. Perhaps the Information is not updated after moving Artboards and it's being passed incorrectly to Affinity Photo. So selections don't work properly.

I have a problem with the "invert pixel selection" function. I really miss the ability to make adjustments to the Gradient Overlay shape. Can you please add such functionality to the Overlay Erase Tool? Or at least possibility to convert Gradient Overlay to Brush Overlay?

Deselecting selected elements also deselects objects in collapsed artboards in the layer panel. Automatic renaming of layers and artboards When copying artboards several times, they are added with the same name. Often this ends up with many artboards with the name "Artboard1". +1 for free transform of course. I'm sorry to say this, but I think Mr. @Jowday is right. He may be a little bit bit upset, but you can't ignore the fact that despite so many posts and requests producer bravely does not respond to them. And this is not about returning 50 bucks. Dragging symbols from the symbols pallete onto the canvas does not work. When a symbol is created, it appears in the palette but cannot be dragged from the palette to the drawing. Just nothing happens and the symbol is not placed on the canvas. AD 1.8.3.641, Windows 10

Could someone from the Affinity team please speak up? There are a lot of requests for this simple and basic tool on the forum. Virtually all are heroically ignored by the developer. For so many Designer versions, the community cannot get something that is implemented in every vector editing program. To make it clear - we're not talking about AP bitmap operations but about transforming vector curves, groups and text in Designer. Can you finally show your customers a bit of respect and at least give a clear answer when this feature will be added or why you don't want to introduce it?
