I can confirm this problem since 2.1.0. (Windows) I reverted back to 2.0.4 and the problem is gone. Sigh.

It's also useless for lofi pixel art work. Rasterizing destroys the pixel art as it adds unwanted aliasing pixels.

This is still a bug in V2. Absolutely horrible when working with pixel art.

Well put , I can 100% relate to that. Calling a smartphone app, that only can do one (often stupid) thing, an app is somewhat understandable, but not complex professional software like Affinity Photo, Pro Tools etc., or even complex integrated software environments.

I actually hate the term app. To me these are programs. Like back in the day before smartphones became mainstream and all the dumbfxxx started saying app.

Whenever I want to use a filter, it only effects the selected layer. Is it possible to use a filter that effects all layers beneath it at once ?

I have a problem with Affinity Photo. When I want to copy and paste a picture to another program via Windows Clipboard (Aseprite), all I get is an empty layer. Affinity Phot is the only program I know that does this. It doesn't do this to all other programs tho. For example I can copy to MTpaint. I asked the Aseprite Developer about this and he told me that it might have something to do with the clipboard format that AP uses. So, what kind of format do you guys use ? A png like format or bmp like ?

I'm on Windows and can't find any fullscreen button or key combination to enter a fullscreen mode. You can hide some controls by pressing tab but it's not a real fullscreen mode with the picture fully stretched to fill the screen. When I press tab the screen looks like below. Is this the fullscreen mode you talked about Fixx ?

To show a layer that can't be seen because it's hidden by other layers and then hide it again I need to: To Show: 1. Alt Left Click the layer-thumbnail 2. Click the checkmark if needed To hide again: 3.a. Right Click the layer and then left click to close the pop up window or 3.b. Left Click another layer Suggestion: Just 2 Alt Clicks at the same location should be needed: - Alt Left Click automatically enables the checkmark and shows the layer - Alt Left Click at the same location hides the layer and sets the checkmark to its original position. Additionaly, it might be a good idea to add a new option to the menu that you open by right clicking a layer. An option called "show only this layer" below the "hide" option.

The simplest way would be a constantly updated thread labeled "Latest Version here". Or a proper download page on the Affinity main website. You could just bookmark it and see the latest version there !

I would like to have a Quick Way to See Current Version of Affinity Photo. A webpage to bookmark or something. I know the program looks for updates iteself but it's not connected to the internet.

I would like to have a "Tiled Pattern Brush". What I mean by this is this: A brush that uses a picture, for example a brickwall tile, and applies it evenly. If the tile is 512x512 the brush should distribute it every 512 pixels. In other words, if I paint with this brush, the result should be a picture with a big seamless "wallpaper".

I would love to see an adjustment layer in Affinity Photo, where I can reduce the amount of colors to a specific number but with more control than Posterize. Similar to what you can do in Photoshop, when you convert a picture to GIF format. There you have a options how to reduce the colors and you have a great dither alogrithm which can eben be controlled regarding its strength. An option to remove specific colors manually would be awesome, too. And of course, non desctructable, as it would be just an adjustment layer!

Ok, Filter Forge does work. I have to fill a layer before using it with a color tho. But that's no problem. 16 Bit gives an Invalid Plane count 4 expected 3 error msg. but that's no problem either. Ximagic XiQuantizer however does still give the old error message "Host can't allocate enough memory" when I try to start it. Win7 64 Bit 8 Bit Image.

I simply started new documents and could not do it. However, adding and selecting a pixel layer I can select Filter Forge. It actually starts, too. Not sure if it really works tho.
