Hi, thanks for the opportunity to help refine this Great product - a potential CC Beater!! I just wanted to clarify that ALL issues logged in this forum are being responded to? Reason is, I, like many keen Serif Supporters are busy trialling this beta through our own workflows for hours a day and it would be great if EVERY issue logged got an acknowledgement or further information request promptly. As I see it recent issues are responded to, however some from the weekend have not been. Some appear to be potential new bugs. I am just concerned that the very many keen supporters behind the scenes may not be quite so vocal or supportive if they feel their very valuable contribution is not being acted upon (for whatever reason). I retried with doubling size field 1. Then click on field 2 to update - then I released the lock and it worked! Cheers, P

I noted that the Edit, Fill dialogue box shows 0-255 not 0-100% on Grayness (as per the Vimeo Affinity Mac tutorial for non-destructive Dodge/Burn). I do not know if it is by design or merely a visual change required. Cheers, Paul

I noticed that when using QM the following happens; 1.Each of the Mask Types (Overlay, Black, White, ..) ONLY change to that visual representation when the mouse is moved within the image box, otherwise they remain as previously selected. 2. Transparent option does not display the Transparency, it appears as Overlay... Any ideas? Win 7, 250GB SSD, 640Gb HD, Wacom Bamboo

Agreed. 2 level beta test, however NOT running both in parallel. Run the private one as a pre-release and then open beta. Example. When v1.0.0 of Affinity-Win is released and there is an in dev release then release THAT v1.1.0 to limited advanced small beta test group and then later when stable to the wider forum. Of course emergency v1.0.1,2...x can occur as required. Cheers, P

As a photographer with an IT and business history you may want to consider the following. 1. Release early beta s/w to a small group of reliable and experienced Photographers and Designers PRIOR to general beta.(Evangelist/Ambassador) 2. Supply them with a structured Bug report template issue no., software, hardware, workflow, screen print etc. 3. Provide them a view of the bug list to assist additional analysis and clarification. I feel this would rid the beta of simple spelling, layout and other function bugs. It would clear up a lot of the multi reports as we get now and result in a cleaner mass market beta release. Crashes using FS anytime in various workflows. No restart messages. AMD processor using inbuilt GPU Toshiba Satellite Pro C850D-107. Hope that helps. P

As it is functional in Affinity MAC I assume will appear. I still use Picasa and GPS still works fine...

Same here; The CONTEXT tool bar does not appear after selecting the Gradient Tool. So TYPE etc.. cannot be selected. Hope that helps,, Paul

When using Lighting Effect (Live) as attached - I can position the effect and amend the node locators using drag and drop, however when I then click in to the parameters such as Outer or Inner Core etc. the Lighting Effect 'jumps' to top left of the image - anchoring the bottom centre node to the top left of my image... I then have to redo all my changes... Hope that helps... Paul

As attached - attempted several resizes anchored to corners/edges - all ok. When I attempt a resize with centre anchor it appears non-central, always offset, I tried several various canvas sizes - all appear similar to attachments.. (yes I know shot 1 has a top left anchor..) Hope that helps.. paul

Great videos and a great beta. However, James, to state 'you will find that both the interface and functionality translate to the Windows version'... is misleading - just to be clear - several features in MAC are not available in Windows version.. GPS/Location etc.. Hope that helps. cheers, Paul

Hi, On PS I have the Tools toolbar moved to the right of the UI near to layers and other panels for ease of use. Will the function to move the toolbar be included in Windows version? cheers, Paul

Hi, I note that Affinity Mac has Location Panel with map function. I cannot see this in the Windows beta? I have over 100,000 images with GPS Lon/Lat/Alt in the exif. Will the Map/Location function be included soon? cheers, Paul
