If that can help I'm running MACOS HIGH SIERRA BETA 2 UPDATE 1. I don't know the changes they introduced regard the first beta 2 but the update was about 400Mb.
 
Great work with the implementation of Metal, I'm really sure it will make a difference.

Performance greatly increased for multi-artboard documents when creating/adjusting objects/properties

Another issue.
 
When you have selected an object and try to zoom in-out or just move the screen with the hand tool, the graphics performance decreases.
If you un-select the object and try again the performance seems fine.
 
I imagine those problems regards the no-compatibility with MACOS SIERRA.

Jeje I'm really sure about that...
 
No jokes, I'm very impressed about the accessibility of you guys.
Thats something about the other big companies must learn...

Yes for sure.
I was thinking as you before I sent the video. "My machine is not enough for that quantity of FX effects and pages".
Anyway I thought "I'll make the question" 
 
It was a shame to have that incredible performance (60fps) never seen by me at any software, decreased by a bug.
 
Now I hope we'll have same graphics performance in all scenarios that makes we love Affinity software. :D

I'm completely agree with you Matt.
Maybe is your fault because Affinity team is getting used everybody to have new releases every week...  ;)
 
Your software is really one of the few that I really want to used.
My main job since many years ago is make wiring diagrams, manuals, etc... That new sync symbol feature for me is amazing...

I just updated my MAC to last Beta 5 of OS El Capitan (15A235d) and I found that any Affinity app works.
They open but when I try to do something then crash and remains at same window.
 
I know that's not you fault because this is a Beta but it's strange that all the previous betas was working fine with Affinity products and now I can't use the programs.
 
Can I do something?

That's the reason I was very happy when I saw that someone was developing a software following the simplicity and power of Freehand.

Yes I used AD Beta, sorry.
The video was very helpfull.
 
I'll try to find the best way to do the glass and shine effect at screen.
I'm with you, I don't like very much that 3D finishing for that purpose.
 
One more thing, I found some issues with graphics performance of my laptop doing the design.
I'm using a MacBook PRO late 2013 with an IRIS PRO GRAPHICS CARD.
I had some lags, slow graphics rendering... Etc
 
It's normal due my Mac or I can have any wrong option at AD setting configuration?
