  1. Thank you for your reply. However in the emergency I tried to install version 1.7.1, the installation went well and the software works well. It seems that on this machine, the version of Net.Framework is 4.5 while while doing a search, the registry indicates 4.8. After checking the status of Windows update, version 4.8 was waiting for download and installation. Maybe this was causing an installation problem. Version 4.8 should not be installed correctly. Which minimum version of Net.Framework is needed for Publisher 1.7.3? I have not yet retested the installation of publisher 1.7.3 since the update. I should do it in the next few days and keep you informed.
  2. Hello, Following a request to update Affinity Publisher, I proceeded to download and install version 1.7.3, however after a minute the software closed. All other tests caused the same problem of inadvertent closure. So I uninstalled Publisher, I downloaded version 1.7.3 again and proceeded to install. The installation fails with the message "Failed to install". Windows 10 operating system up to date. Net.Framework 4.8. Would you have a solution to offer me? Thanking you.
  3. Thank You Carl123, it works, thank you very much for your help.
  4. I checked the authorization of the Firewall, everything is OK, I also disabled to experience, the result is always the same.
  5. Thank you Alfred, I imported the key, but the problem remains the same, still no connection to Unsplash.
  6. That's what I wanted to do but the link says: 404 - File or directory not found.
  7. Thank You Walt, Yes, I have a Windows 7 (x64) but how to add the following registry key ?: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols\TLS 1.1\Client] "DisabledByDefault"=dword:00000000
  8. Good evening, Whenever I go under the Stock tab to load images, Pexels and Pixabay work fine, but Unsplash displays the error message "Failed to connect" I do not understand why. Is there a solution to remedy this problem? Thanking you
  9. Hello everyone, If Affinity Publisher Beta 1.7.0.249 crashes at startup, it is necessary to download the latest version of Microsoft .Net Framework 4.7.2. Normally, this eliminates the problem. Download here: This Framework
  10. Hello, As you advised me, I downloaded and installed the Net Framework 4.7.2. Affinity Publisher 1.7.0.249 works fine. So it is a problem of Framework that seems to be the cause of the failure. Thank you again for your help.
  11. However, it is noted that this is the only version of Affinity Publisher with which I have this problem. As I said in my first message version 1.7.0.238 installs perfectly. But I do not know the differences of the installer of 249 and 238.
  12. Thanks Jon, However there is one thing that I do not understand, that's why the error message concerns the Framework 4.0.30319 while the Framework 4.6.2 is installed on my PC. Note also that on the error message, the version concerned seems to be this: <Data> 4.6.1590.0 </ Data>. Strange no?
  13. Hello, As advised, I went to see in Windows events. It seems that the problem comes from a Framework 4.0.30319 .DLL file. I enclose the detailed report of what I found. Thanks error.pdf
  14. I just installed the version 14.16.27027 (last version) I will repeat a test after restarting the computer. Here is the result of the test, even with the latest version 14.16.27027, Affinity Publisher crashes from the start
  15. There, it's done. However even after checking all the boxes and removed, the problem persists. If I uninstall this version and reinstall version 1.7.0.238 it works normally.
