  1. Both AD and AP are crashing for me. The moment I try to search for a typeface that I want in the textbox both programs crash to desktop immediately. Attached is the error from System Events.
  2. Most of the mockups from designcuts aren't Affinity compatible yet. If you aren't sure just ask in the comments below the bundle, the designcuts staff respond very quickly.
  3. Sorry to bring back this old thread but I have to create a launcher icon for ios and android. Android's page states that "Launcher icons should be 32-bit PNGs with an alpha channel for transparency." If I export it in Designer according to MEB's recommended method, will it still be recognized as 32bit? I have opened the exported PNG in Windows (right click, Properties, Details) and it still shows up as 24bit, while if I export from Photoshop it shows as 32bit. Would appreciate if someone could shed some light on this.
  4. Glad to hear that! You're a lifesaver. The help and support I get from the Affinity team is just insane I love you guys.
  5. Hi, Lee D. Thanks for the prompt response, I appreciate it! I've downloaded the older version thanks to your link. As for the crash, I can reproduce it consistently on my side. 1. Create a new document (any resolution). 2. Place a file (JPEG, PNG, PDF, etc) into the document. 3. Go to Layer - New Live Filter Layer - Perspective Filter 4. Just drag the nodes around, it should crash in under 15 seconds or less. I did a search previously on the forums regarding this issue and multiple people have posted saying that they have this, some Staff/Moderators have also acknowledged it being a bug that was previously fixed but back again, if I am not wrong. I have not tried my Mac version of Photo, but on both my (Windows) laptop and desktop the crash can be reproduced every single time. Since I have a previous version that works for me (yay!) then its not as urgent, but I would appreciate it if I could get an ETA on when it will get fixed. If you can find the time, of course. You saved so much of my time by giving me the link, thanks!
  6. Hi, Is there a way/URL for us to grab older versions of Photo/Designer software? I've tried searching but nothing came up. If I've missed something I would be glad with just a quick nudge in the right direction. The current Photo version has a major bug in it that's preventing me from doing my work (using Live Perspective to create presentation mockups for clients). I hope it isn't too much to ask, but is there any estimated timeline for this issue to be fixed? I understand the team is busy but I'm concerned the release may come at a much later time and I cannot rely on this for my work anymore.
  7. Hello, SrPx. I ran Adobe CS5 and 6 on the exact same machine without any (font related) issue for a couple of years, did not have any problems with earlier beta versions of Affinity Photo as well. Hence my suspicions that it might be 0.39 that was the culprit. After reading your post, I did realize that I haven't backed up my data for a long time. Going to do it before bed later, thanks for your time and advice.
  8. I'm also currently having this issue, it gets pretty bad to the point where I've had the program freeze constantly upon clicking of the Font dropdown. I do not have as many as 4000 fonts but probably below 500. If there's any way for me to provide a log file or something please let me know as I really like your work. Thanks! Edit: Is there a way for me to redownload the previous beta version? I'm pretty sure I did not have this issue on the previous beta, would like to hop back on and try it as I cannot work with the freezing going on. Edit #2: Just did a System Restore on my Windows machine back to when I was running 15.0.38(beta) and all my fonts load quickly and normally now. It seems like it was 0.39 that was causing the fonts issue?
