  1. I prefer the App store exactly for the arguments raised. Software here is free of spam and trojans. Try downloading a freeware or app and you get offers from Viagra to Nigerian bank frauds in bulk within a second.
  2. its impossible to set in the current versions of Ad & Ap the brackets [ and ] in the keyboard shortcut settings for changing the brush sizes on a German Mac OS. Even the program itself is set to english. Its it a know problem for a long time. Will this be tackled in the coming update?
  3. I worked - thank you - I did not realize that I do not have to open a new layer when selecting the text tool - as it opens a layer on its own. So I got a black screen (container) covering the rest. My mistake
  4. I had a lookout your excellent site - how did you do that scull? https://www.behance.net/gallery/26055971/ColorFull-Dead-(JUNE-2015-update)
  5. I need to assign to a lot of SYBMOL boxes different names but want to retain the ability to change the buttons size and the font later on without having forced the same name on every button. Like name plates for tenants on a building block or names on a metro map - different names with identical outlook.
  6. Thank you - the Affinity Designer Workbook I bough via Amazon. Excellent! And let me say, the Affinity Designer Workbook serves me well to get a easy grip on the functionality, as well as your videos do - coming from Adobe (and leaving behind the dry land) its a pretty easy transition. Hope to leave xPress soon behind as well with the dawn of Affinity publisher 2017!?
  7. I bought AP & AD from the Mac App store. My credentials are as far as I can see not transferred to Serif as I cannot log in when trying to register with my Mac App Store accounts details at: https://affinity.store/de/sign-in/ So - do I miss something not being registered at Serif? Or should I just forget the matter?
  8. I use the Shear/Skew function and do not find that the accessibility is as worse as some here mention. Actually I think this is not a problem at all.
  9. Start here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/10815-in-house-affinity-designer-video-tutorials/ The excellent short videos will help you to get a grips on the Programm in no time. I myself started some time ago where You are now and know that this is the only way. Without a willingness to learn at least the basics, you better stay away from Affinity Designer or Affinity Photo in first place - seems harsh but its the brutal truth
  10. Have you tried to move the arrows in the View>Asset tab and place it from there? This should sync the arrows at your hearts desire
  11. How did you do this? Its hard to believe this is done solely with Affinity designer but rather a enhanced photo - right?
  12. The arrows are right here in Affinity Designer - just look under: View> Assets > Grade UI Basic elements or View> Assets > iOS 10 There you find a bunch of ready made arrows. Ready to be converted into paths
  13. The arrows are right here in Affinity Designer - just look under: View> Assets > Grade UI Basic elements or View> Assets > iOS 10 There you find a bunch of ready made arrows. Ready to be converted into paths
  14. Thank You. I already have the current Beta versions installed - anyhow - it should be more clearly marked "THIS BETA VERSION x.xx" is the latest to download
  15. I'm (bought both Apps on the app store) getting confused as the Beta uploads was put online way back 2017. So, where do I find the current Betas (AD & AP) for Mac and what are their numbers? Thank you.
  16. example on faking / creating a optical lens - excellent! Easy to follow and replicate even without German language knowledge
