Hanzz got a reaction from smallreflection in Hanzz, testing the painting abilities of AP
    It was great for painting.
But after some time painting( half hour to an hour ) evrything started behaving heavy, slower.
I also found that after the painting time, and after closing AP, the whole system acted up somewhat.
After restarting my iMac, everything went back to normal.

But all in all, a fun job to do.Though I have some personal troubles with the likeness, I am interested in painting some more stuff in AP.
Great work ,and congratzz to the programming team.

I intend to place all my paintings in this topic, to save up the space of the forum.

Let me know what you think.

Matt, that's a good trick, Save As multiple times to compress native file format... Got me thinking, might be a good idea if the app does that multiple pass save automatically...? That's quite a size difference!!!

Testing a newly made brush, based on the tuturial provided by PAOLO (http://www.paololimoncelli.com/bristles-for-affinity-designer/ )

Mixing goes well. This one was a caricature I started in Mischief, and abandoned.
I won't completely finish it, but it gave me the drive to do a good one very soon....
So keep an eye open on this space... ;)

I have now 4 files on my disk.
    #1=587,4MB
    #2=487,6MB
    #3=188,3MB

This can not continue, without loss of quality ,I guess?

I guess you'll need an app that converts the jpg in a vector file. For now it is not, as far as I found out,yet in Afintiy Designer.
Here is a tutorial that explains stuff , but done with Inkscape. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/convert-images-to-svg-format-with-inkscape/

+1 for the Option to have a lighter color for the UI and also for an option for larger icons.  My older eyes no longer do dark and fiddly that well.  And I agree with Scott Dutton that a neutral gray gives you a much better idea of color values.

It just occurred to me: to save memory, I have set the amount of undo's to 64..... So it won't be of any use I guess to save the history ?
I thought I would save me some time with not having to record the proces ,or take screenshots every time....
Any thoughts? Is there still a way to recover these steps ?

Mayor stupidity on my behalf here...... <_<

Ronnie, go to frenden.com or do a search on "frenden" on YouTube. Ray Frenden has done a lot of reviews and such with other brands (read not-Wacom) of digital tablets.

Myself, I wouldn't use a Cintique if I was given one. I like drawing on a tablet and having full view of my art without my hand/arm blocking part of it.
