Hi, I am currently working on an app design project, and I love the export persona when it comes to exporting all the icons used in the app in different sizes. But Just realized that I can export the different sizes in their correct folder, just by adding the folder name and "/" in the export. This is something I have not found or been told anywhere else. So I thought you guys might like it as well. 

In my case, there are 60 icons that are going to be exported in 5 different sizes, so this was a real time saver.

Yes, the Affinity Photo Workbook will still be published. As far as i know there's no eta at this point.
Affinity Publisher Beta wasn't released yet. We will announce it here and in social media as soon as there's some news.

So true!! Please add this. It is a pain to use multiple programs to get the right result.

I totally agree with this suggestion. For me, it would move Affinity up yet another league.
 
At the moment, I import vector graphics into Blend for Visual Studio by using Illustrator.ai files. That works perfectly OK up to Blend for VS2013, but Microsoft dropped the .ai import option for VS2015 and 2017, so I have to have 2 versions of Blend on my PC to do that.
 
What I'd like to do is to use Affinity for the vector work, export to XAML, to use directly in Visual Studio. At the moment it's only possible to export to .svg from Affinity, then use a 3rd party converter. That's messy, and all the SVG to XAML converters that I've tried give a much less perfect conversion than the method I currently use. So that leaves me with having to continue to use Illustrator.
 
So - please, Serif, think about giving this some priority? I think there are a lot of us who would love this extension to an already fabulous application. Maybe MS would sell the code, since they no longer seem to want it?......

The Icon assets are the original SVG downloaded from https://material.io/icons/ and are all in 24x24 px (I will try to update this when there is new icons).
I've also started to make a document that is a copy of te dokument that Sketch uses (This is not done but I would like feedback on what to improve)

Hi! I was wondering if there is a way to mark a layer/object, and make it not exportable. I have this one case, where when I export a slice with many artboards i want everything included, but when Im only exporting one artboard I just want some layers..

Not shure if this should be here or in a feature request ?

I would like to see this too. I've just switched to a different user account on the same computer, and although I can run the Affinity apps without having to reinstall them (because they're installed per machine rather than per user) I can't see my assets, brushes, etc.

I'm about as colorblind as they come but I can't help but enjoy playing within designer and photo. I've gotten pretty good at using the apps but wanted to ask affinity for some help!
 
Has there ever been a thought to have a add on tool that helps colorblind people choose colors more appropriately when designing. If you hover over the color it gives you the breakdown but if it could say the closest color it resembles like purple or blue.

Welcome to Affinity Forums :) 
I'm hoping that some of the text features of Publisher will be then ported back to Designer. Text styles are useful in several areas, some of them part of Designer's scope (like UI Design) so i believe there will be some improvements here. Select objects by their attributes is already planned.

Thanks for the response. I am hoping Affinity publish will be the program that will break me away from InDesign. Typographic features will need to be robust out-of-the-gate. Here are some essential features I use all the time:
 
• Text flow between text areas
• Text wraps
• Bullets and list items
• Text columns
• Drop caps
• Hang punctuation 
• Hyphenation
• Baseline shift
 
Also use tables in InDesign and the Graphs in Illustrator.

Text styles will be coming at some point. They are an essential part of Affinity Publisher and probably will be ported back to Designer.
Symbols, and pages/artboards are already on our roadmap to be implemented.

So far I think this is a great program. I am hoping to replace Adobe with Affinity. I would like to see a way to create simple character styles and paragraph styles. Also a way of creating reusable symbols for UI elements and art boards for different size web pages.
