Hi Alfred Yes, it's the measurement and dimensioning which I need when using Visio. I use Visio for room planning, drawings of external faces of buildings, and small items which I need to make. None of this is done in a profesional capacity - the day job is web design.

Hi Serif I’ve been a Serif licence holder since 2008, using WebPlus and PagePlus mostly. I now have a copy of Affinity Photo. There seems to be a gap in the market for a really good package which crosses the frontiers between drawing, technical drawing, and CAD. I struggle with the current crop of CAD programs, so I’m still relying on Visio 2002. It would be great to think Serif would add one of these to the Affinity range – I would certainly buy it

The link from the email I was sent ( to affinity.serif.com/windows/ ) goes to a webpage with the sound on. This can be very inconvenient and embarrassing in an office environment. Furthermore, there seems to be no way (on the page) to turn it off. Not a good start. David
