I have been trained when ever I read "An exciting announcement" that bad news is coming as someone that depends on that thing. The truth is, we have seen this story time and time again and know it very rarely winds up being a good thing.

I am also experiencing this issue.

Updated designer and photo to the latest versions and run them (important). Once you do that then it should be able to detect them.

SublimeText uses Python for plugins. -1 for AppleScript becauses it's platform dependent and as such is a bad idea.

I think an excellent feature for the Affinity series would be the additional of an auto-update facility. It's archaic to have to go to the new website to do this when you could take that away and streamline the whole experience. It would also be a nice place to show a change log when updates are available or even support Delta patches so you don't need to download the entire thing each time.

Until Sketch acknowledges other platforms than Mac exist, it should never become a standard.

I think it would be an excellent idea to open up the file format shared between Photo and Designer so it can be embraced by 3rd party tools like Invision, Avocode and Zeplin.
