  1. Sounds like a good suggestion. I will move it to the feature suggestion forum.
  2. Yes, all tools honour the layer editing scope. It can be very useful to have it turned off in complex multi-layered designs.
  3. I think the best way to add this feature would be to have a transform command that brings up a panel and you specify the details with 'Transform each' being an option.
  4. Not at the moment. I will ask Matt next week as I thought we could.
  5. But you can select a new shape with the node tool. Just click on the other shape or even shift-click if you want to have multiple shapes selected.
  6. Thanks for the file. The line with pressure is unfortunate as we were working on this just before release. I will post back to this thread when we have a beta to share that improves the output.
  7. The shape will be selected after you drag but will always stay in the shape tool so you can create more shapes. In this situation why do you need the select tool as you can do most commands from the shape tool. If it's to move the object then you can do that by dragging the object on the selection frame. If not then a quick way to get back to the select tool is by pressing 'v'.
  8. Can you post the file please as It's much easier to find out what is happening.
  9. OK, I will put it on the list. Just don't ask me to make delete split the curve as that irritates me in Illustrator.
  10. I think the music is credited at the beginning of the video at the bottom of the screen. I can't see it on my phone but I have seen it before.
  11. Yes, we plan on translating into French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese over the next 12 months and perhaps more after.
  12. What happens if you tick 'Use Fill' on the context toolbar?
  13. If Motion and FCPX has any kind of plugin architecture then we might be able to have a go. Anyone aware of their capabilities?
  14. No, but it sounds like an interesting idea.
  15. The problem is when dealing with a retina project we double the DPI and half the UI readout so they compensate. Unfortunately something is now doing this twice so every readout is half the size it should be. We will get this fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience but the fix shouldn't take too long. We will be making beta tests of the upcoming build available from this forum soon and I will post back to this thread when it is available. Thanks again, Tony Brightman (Head of SerifLabs)
  16. Yes, we desperately want to have a mirror iPad/iPhone app. It's just a matter of priorities but we will get there.
  17. Thanks for reporting this. We will investigate what is happening.
  18. Very unfortunate as we did support these but we got blasted by many users for not using alt-arrow for kerning. The users basically said that if we didn't support alt-arrow kerning then nobody would take us seriously. I guess it's hard to please everyone. How about we make it a preference?
  19. We will add this but because you can already achieve the same results we have to focus on the things your can't achieve first. But I do agree, it's a great marketing feature.
  20. Sounds interesting. I will have to think of any downsides as people often select points for editing but might be surprised when their pasted object only has a few points.
  21. Alignment of nodes was being worked on just before release but didn't make the cut. We will add it soon.
  22. We wil add 3x export option soon. We are less sure what this means for raster layer creation but we need to think about it carefully.
  23. We use the CMD key for this. Have a look in the status bar at the bottom of the app for tips on these modifiers.
  24. We will paste in place as long the object will be visible on the screen. This works well for me at the moment as I often just paste to get a copy and then move the copy a few pixels. If the pasted object would be outside the visible area then it just pastes it in the centre. Paste in front is what happens by default in Affinity. Paste behind and on top of layer is handled currently be setting an insert target available on the top right toolbar.
