Hi all should it be fine with Mojave? I'm still on Sierra with 1.6 Should I first upgrade the MacOS or the Affinity apps?

Hi,

I'm trying to find out the right settings on the Apply Image filter to set up manual frequency separation both for 8 and 16bits if they are any different. My point is to use FS with Median blur instead of Gaussian.

[Pixelated rasterised effect]

The print size will be extremely small so this pixelation @Wosven you see it should be gone. Actual print size is 64x32mm  I've also attached the file converted at 600 before exporting but it doesn't seem to make any difference. It's strange how the effect is getting pixelated but everything else isn't.

 @PaulEC I agree that the effect will be hard to be seen but it does make it to pop out comparing with the VMist above without the effect.

Thanks Wosven, yeah this is a great suggestion. I've exported it at 600DPI and it seems the problem is now sorted (file attached). Thanks very much.

Hi all,

I'm working on a little product label and I've added a 3D effect on the text VMist. When I export it as pdf it's pixelating the text. Is there something I do wrong? I've included the designer file and the exported pdf. Also I've duplicated the VMist so to be easier to compare the pixelation. Please keep these files confidential.

[Affinity workspace]

Hi all,

I've just installed a fresh copy of the Affinity Photo and Designer in my Mac. I'm wondering if I could transfer the workspace from before the reset to the fresh apps. I have saved everything in Time Machine but I wanted to reinstall everything from scratch. Thanks
