just discovered this after affinity sent an email saying designer doesn't have "smart" quotes—what us designers used to call them:
For mac:
Option + open bracket = Open double quotes
Option + shift + open bracket = Close double quotes
Option + close bracket = Open single quote
Option + shift + close bracket is = Closed single quote
How to get typographic quotes or curly quotes in Affinity Designer?
