    Hey everyone,
I'm not normally one to post in here, mainly because i don't really edit the photos i take, give or take a few colour corrections.  Anyway i've attached the 3 raw files i used (could of got away with just 2 really) and my final edit.  The 1st RAW file is without any filters, the 2nd two have a Cokin ND filter (medium) applied.  The filters really help stop the sky from blowing out, which has been a big problem of mine.  Anyway feel free to have a play with the raw files and if this kind of thing interests people, i'll be happy to post more.
Bit of back ground on the location, this is Russells Youth Club in St Anne's, Nottingham.  If you ever see on the news that Prince Harry has come to Nottingham, this is one of the places he also stops by.  They have welcomed the graffiti for many a year now and this is one of the main stop offs for visiting graffiti writers.  The main writer on the lower part of this wall is Dash, who is local legend here in Nottingham, he started way back in the 80s and is still going today (i missed him doing this wall by a few hours)
Anyway, hope you enjoy and if you want to see more street art/graffiti look up @mostlynottsgraffiti on instagram

Post on the correct forum: https://community.serif.com/

stokerg reacted to R C-R in Progress with the Affinity Designer feature road map (split)
I find it funny that there have been more feature requests since the apps were released than I can count, & even ones that are well outside the scope of either app are often referred to as "must haves" or "deal breakers." Everybody has a list of features they would love to see added ASAP, myself included, but everybody's list is different. Many of them would require extensive rewrites to the core code and/or compromising one or more features that sets Affinity apart from the competition, so it isn't as simple to accommodate even a fraction of all those requests as many users seem to think (particularly considering the single native file format across all the Affinity apps that to my knowledge no other company, Adobe included, has ever even attempted).
Nope. Serif has never claimed that, only that they are alternatives to the Adobe & other graphics apps.

Glad you got to the bottom of it @pedrowunderlich
I also shared @R C-R view at first and wouldn't of expected it to work BUT it does work for vector brushes.  I suspect this will be something to do with the need of a pixel layer to paint on and that is only being applied to the artboard and not the outside BUT i'm not a Dev and could be completely wrong on that.
I'll have to get comment on this in the morning from the QA team to see if this is expected behaviour and if it is we can put an improvement request into the Dev team.  If it's bug, we can log it as such

    Hi Dries,
Stokerg is right you can have pages full of discussions about this subject as in the above links but:
It all depends on what generation and type i7 and i5  you have!
There are some i5 processors that perform better then some i7,
Check the specifications with Google when you see a certain offer (lot's of offers contain older generation processors).
And don't forget the memory that plays an important role in combination with the processor.
    Regards,
    David

    Hi markbowen,
    Welcome to Affinity Forums
Select the object with the FX, go to the Layer FX Studio and turn on Scale with Object (right below the studio header on top). If these objects use strokes you also have to enable this for strokes. With the object selected go to the Stroke Studio, tap the Advanced header on bottom  and turn on Scale with Object (almost on bottom), You can then scale the group and the objects will keep their strokes and FX proportions.

Although you said you downloaded the installer file again, to confirm that the file is definitely fully downloading correctly, if you right-click on the installer file and go to properties, does your file size, etc. match the below screenshots?
