Is there a keyboard shortcut to move up and down from a layer? My wacom table rarely allows me to click on a layer to switch layers. Most of the time I have to switch to using a mouse to change layers. -
I'm getting used to it slowly. I had lots of Astute Graphics tools for ai. Frankly, AD works better, despite no offset which was kind of hard to understand anyway.

Just finished 2 hours 40 min AD Quick Start tutorial . Really great. Now I'm on to the 1.7 update. She is a wonderful instructor! -
I have my wacom pen set to i for color picker. Tried opt, doesn't do anything with brush tool selected. I tried a different AP file. With brush selected click wacom pen "i", selected color, clicked back to "b" Color stayed selected, no switch back. Can't figure out why it's working now. This has been a real pain for awhile.

In AP any way to pick a color and have it stick to the brush? I color picker a color then switch back to brush "b". Color picker color immediate goes to back color and brush color reverts to another color which shows as front color. I can select the back color or eye dropper on color panel. But this is obviously is a lot of steps and really difficult when I have 2 very similar colors. (Sorry terminology is .psd,)

What happened to my black rectangle. It is on the layer at the bottom of my artboards. Disappeared after I masked music in circle in layers above.

Checkerboard was turned on. I think this happened when I did a cut and paste. The new layer came in black.

Wish I could just undo the WP part of the file. Following your advice, I clicked a bunch of WP things on menus and eventually the page quite giving me the popup on close. I uploaded with DW to https://mcgraphics.us/art I'm guessing it had something to do with <!doctype html> <html class="no-js" lang="en" wp-template wp-template-define-master-page> <head> Seems to work. I'm a pretty poor, web designer. So your patience and help is appreciated. -

I can't get questions answered on their forum and I never am able to keep up with the new version features. I remain a total novice. Plus I probably shouldn't have upgraded to Pinegrow Pro WP. Anyway my current issue is that I selected a block from Foundation 6.5 library and saved file as paint.html in my mcgraphics.us/art project. Everytime close paint.html I get a popup saying “The theme doesn’t have the index page. Each WordPress theme needs the index.php template.” And “The theme doesn’t have Master page.” I’m forced to quit Pinegrow to close paint.html.mcgraphics.us/art/paint.html seems to work. Suggestions please? The inegrow forum isn't the Affinity forum ; ) -
I'm praying you'll make a dreamweaver web page builder program. Currently I'm using Pinegrow with upload by DW cs 6. Anybody got any suggestions until Affinity does it, let me know. I love this forum!!!!!

My sizing images and artboards is working nicely. I'm trying to set up 1 clean AD file then I can just place all my psd files. A lot of the art is done in Corel Painter. Back to slices: I've set doc to pixels, also to 300 dpi and 0 decimals pixels in prefs, But as the 3rd screenshot shows my artboard layer slices are still each off by 1 px. What am I missing? Also how do I find stroke studio?

Seems that fx objects don't scale properly. The circle scaled but not the stroke. I tried "scale with object" in fx. But stroke still did not scale. Still it is not difficult to fix.

I tried "lock children". It worked only partially as you can see. Also what does "absolute sizes" in contextual top menu do? Thanks so much for your patience helping me with this. I love AD

Nice! But changing dpi to 300 px multiples my artboard size. Reducing artboards back to 4500 x 5400 leaves the art large. Anyway I can reduce artboard and art on the artboard?

You are both right. Ais are in points. What to do now please? Do need to fix first in ai? And if in AD how do I convert to px and snap to grid?
