Are you kidding? You are very misinformed. If RTL was not a money maker or important, Adobe would have dropped it. The fact of the matter is simple. Affinity did not plan for it and retrofitting is almost impossible which is a shame.

I agree with Brian, I 'm not the speed paint fan. I like that the videos are short, though.
I'm sure if I pause the video, I could learn from it, but..
And please no puppy, I would rather prefer text.

A tip if I may. If you are going to do a tutorial video, better to do it in real time or a combination of real time + timelapse with commentary. It does not have to be voice (even though that is a lot better), you can make a puppet or mannequin at the bottom right that speaks of what to do at certain parts.
Since there is only so much a beginner can learn from time-lapse videos.

We aim to release several upgrades a year. The exact number varies. Designer has had 5 major updates in the two years since it was released, which is a cadence I think we're happy with. Those were all free, and at the moment a paid-for 2.0 still seems a long way away.

The reason for this is that having text that is nominally part of the page but you can't see it, seems pointless and confusing. I'm afraid you'll have to delete the surplus text manually. If you want to fill the frame with Lorem Ipsum, then use Text > Insert Filler Text and it will adjust dynamically to fit the frame.
