lost options to right of screen

Driving myself nuts. Had a power out and it has changed my page to infinity photo. I used to launch infinity and the screen would appear with an area to the right where you could use filters and editing tools with the little icons at the bottom save going up to the options onto of screen... where u have to hit on View... Filters... Apple... Edit.... and what ever else is up there .. can anyone advise how I get that back so I open my document and to the right of that there are my icons and I can see the layers building as I edit my document. How silly just can't work out what's happened ... apart form the comp being turned off abruptly because of power out.

Hi MEB the (option/alt) then press G was a winner. many thanx. Sorry Madame, yes I did post my question on another thread. I didn't mean to be rude. ( I couldn't find where I had posted it) and so thought maybe I'd made a mistake in the process. Am really enjoying using Affinity . The forums are great together with the vids and tutorials. I am really pleased with my investment so far this is the first grown up editing/creative tool I've had. I am learning lots.

Hi there.... please could you advise for the "copy right" sign ... have looked around in a couple of places. Have layered my logo on but couldn't figure out where to find ©. I know ctrl/cmd and space bar get it here... but in Affinity I couldn't find it.

Hi Ezra, I have posted asking the question ... but i wondered if you could advice for obscure text. as I can't figure out how to find or access Emoji. particularly for me the copyright sign. I've looked in the Edit at top and in the Affinity creative text option ... I'm missing it . kindest regards

Many thanx Oval. I will buy and down load Affinity in the next couple of days .... and look forward to getting familiar with it. Read a few tutorials. Looking forward to having a proper editing programme.

I am seriously thinking of buying Affinity. It will be my first serious editing tool. I really need it to be able to either put a © symbol and or my logo onto my work... since you guys are discussing text ... I presume this programme will allow me to do that? please excuse me if that is a silly question ... I really am a novice when it comes to editing software. I was thinking of going with Photoshop and Light room... but found this Affinity which is designed obviously for Mac and seems very good value for money. What I've read so far is very positive. Please could someone advise.
