Lee, thanks for the reply to my question. I purchased a copy of Affinity so I could spend some real time learning its features. However, I can't seem to master the icc profile issue. After a lot of research online I was able to to find the profiles folder in my library and copy all the color profiles into it. Unfortunately no matter what I do or select gives me the image at the printer like it appears on the computer screen. Affinity does not default to the profiles folder on the iMac hard drive. Where it looks for the icc profiles is on the external hard drive where images are stored. I even created a profiles folder on the external drive but Affinity does not seem to see it. By the way I did discover the soft proof tool and make adjustments that the tool recognizes but image changes never get sent to the printer.
There has to be some step before printing that I don't understand to ensure the corrected image is sent to the printer. Also, selecting an icc profile from the Affinity drop down menu doesn't seem to make a difference either. So my guess is that the iMac is using a default profile that I can't figure out how to turn off.
Any step by step instructions would be so much appreciated. I've probably wasted 25 dollars of printer paper trying to get the profile issue in hand. All help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Richard

I liked the ease of use of the Affinity Photo product and will probably purchase when version 1.5 is available.
That said, I have not been able to print to a Canon Pro-100 any images with changes made in the software. For example if I adjust the color, or brightness, or density of an entire image, I can see the result on the iMac screen but it does not produce that result at the printer. It seems like there is some sort of default setting(s) that prevent the image from printing what is seen on the iMac screen. I did adjust several Canon profiles but to no effect.
I am confident that my trial period has ended but this issue has bugged me since the beginning and I would like to know, anyway, what I was doing work or what settings needed to be made in the software to print what is seen on the screen.
Thanks in advance, Richard
