A one inch square image with a resolution of 300 dpi stretched to fill a 3 inch square will have a placed resolution of 100 dpi.

The background image is A4 and at 300dpi in Photoshop before it is placed into Publisher - the logo is imported at 300dpi and remains the same size in Publisher.

Thanks for your reply - It is set to 300dpi - it look ok on screen it's after the PDF export that it reveals itself, as well as in preflight.

Hi - I have imported 2 high res Images for an advertisement a full size A4 image on an A4 page and a high res logo - both were produced using Photoshop and both are 300dpi.

Yet when I place them both in Affinity Publisher the pre-flight tells me that they are low res - having sent the file to the printer they came back with the same result.

Any ideas as to why 2 x high res placed images in Affinity Publisher should import as low res?

I am wanting to creating a PDF downloadable walking tour and map and would like to know if it is possible to create a PDF with a vertical as well as a horizontal swipe. 

eg. At the moment I have 10 pages that swipe from left to right which is great, but having to constantly move back to the page with the map on it is a pain, even with a link on each page to get you back to it. What I am really wanting is to have the 10 pages that exist in a left to right line to also have a map below each page - so in practice wherever the user is on the original ten page horizontal 'timeline' they can swipe up and see the map, because there is the same map repeated in the 10 pages below the original ten pages - I hope this makes sense. My question is can this be done using Affinity to design the pages and then exported as a PDF or do I need to,consider some other software' if I do what?  Many thanks in advance for any help on this.
