Impressive detailing..and I like the textures....

Seems pretty straight forward to me… (But maybe I'm missing something?!)
 

 
Draw a Triangle using the Polygon Tool (sides = 3) Draw a Circle and snap it it the top point of the Triangle Move the Circle down to achieve the desired offset Show then Snap the Rotation Center of the Circle to the center of the Triangle Duplicate (Ctrl+J) and rotate 120 degrees Power duplicate to create the third Circle

Animated in After Effects admittedly, but all the artwork was created in Affinity Designer. It's all possible, you just need to think about the workflow a little bit.

Isn't it nice to have all the time in the world, a head full of daft ideas, and the means of bringing them into being? I'm old enough to call the bit on the left a wireless; my grandfather used to make 'em like that for his own amusement back in the twenties. He'd have been quite capable of setting up the steam generating set to drive it too!

Noize Level Critical hold a Festival each year now named "ROCKIN FOR THE CHILDREN" and 100% of the proceeds go to charity. In 2018 we are funding some awesome charities including "NLC for Autistic Children" and " Rock Against child Pornography and Abuse UK" . The Festival is family run and will be held in Nottingham on May Bank Holiday Weekend 5th and 6th May at The Maze. Anyway, this is getting damn good, super excited for these new features... all the great snapping and node tool improvements. Yes nodes alignment please Ben!!  really miss that.
 
... and here I was thinking things had quieted down over the last few months... doh!  Keep up the great work, more vids!!

Insert node at midpoint /and or add x(nodes) between 2 points would be a really useful feature

Steam Kitten artwork in the wild

Hi, 
To promote our honeycomb panel : Beelite. I develop a candy dispenser with two different thickness 10 and 16mm. 
I used affinity Photo iPad for the basic sketch and develop the mechanism (basic). 

 
And the rest was made with Affinity designer Die and print.

I have to use ArtiosCad (no for the design) to make it produceable on a plotter and make a 3D Previz. All pieces have to stitch each other (especially for the V-Notch 45°). 


Final product :150x150x150mm.
