@Stuart_R : Thank you !
@MEB :
I'm sure I'm missing something here, but I always thought of an .exe file as a Windows (e.g. DOS) execute file.
It works fine in OSX too, though, could you explain, please ?
Thanks,
C.L.
Thank you for looking at my post/s :)

@MBd,
That's the purpose of the reference images. They show you a preview and the brush reference so you can find them more easily in the Brushes panel. Mouse over a brush for a few moments there and you should see a tooltip with the brush reference. Without these images it would be difficult to evaluate them properly just by looking at the preview in the Brushes panel.
@Stuart_R
Thank you for sharing Stuart, very kind of you. It's an incredible set (as usual) and must have taken quite some time/effort to put together.
Thanks MEB I really appreciate your comments :)
It did take some time to put together....it was just another long day..well night! but I did have a lot of fun experimenting with the drawing combinations.Unfortunately I have Set 3 to work on!
@ MBd
Thank you for responding to my long post
I agree that the organisation of brushes and other assets needs to be looked at at some point. but is seems pointless to continue to add to a now long list of feature requests as there are still outstanding issues/bugs with current versions of the software.
Adding 100's of brush tools to the Brush Panel was never my intention. It was to provide a collection of resources to browse through and be selected according to requirements. I tend to save/deactivate some of the Brush Packs once I have created them. Then either import as required or copy specific brushes to a separate named category. I accept the process can be tedious; but you can only work with what you have available.
As I have spent a lot of time with brushes in AP and AD over the past few months and there are features that I could easily add to the requests…some of them have been listed below. However, I am aware from observing how this Software has rapidly evolved that the Serif Team are more than capable of identifying issues and improving functionality.
Brushes
- Additional Footer on Brush Panel with button icon options for
- Duplicate Brush (or duplicate directly in menu list [alt drag maybe])
- Delete Brush
- Add New Category [pop-up Menu]
- Copy selected brushes Between Category [Dropdown]
Brush Editing/Texture Tab
- Add Checkbox option to allow Base Texture to scale with Brush
Context Bar
- Add Base Texture options to Context Menu or at least add Base texture scaling and toggle option to apply
and yes…..
Brush Management (Organisation Tool) as Retrograde has also suggested in a previous post

Hi All
Just having a quick run through of the new features but having some issues.
a. The mouse cursor (mouse and Wacom Tablet) is 'stuck underneath all the Toolbars and panels ..So I cannot select anything! eek! (restarted.. issue is mantained)
b. Text /Add Frame Text/clicked on fit frame to text/drag panel around and text gets pixelated + have similar slow refill as with Wacom new driver Tablet issues (AD Windows Beta 1.5.2.66)
-
Hi All
Many thanks for the latest updates for Affinity..awesome work!
Like the new features
Affinity Photo
Get Beta Expired' popup
Also Tried directly from folder but still same result
Purchased both Apps last year ..first time I have tried the Photo Beta version
On OS Windows 10 Pro 1607 OS Build 14393.969
System AMD FX 8350 and AMD Radeon 16.12.2 (R9 380 Series)
Wacom Intuous 4M with driver 6.3.18-3 -

Just another long experiment in AD and AP to share
I was really inspired by the tutorials uploaded to the Forum by (Frankentoon) and links to a fantastic website.
and other tutorials produced by Yulia Sokolova
So I thought I would play around with ‘primitives’ and some of the new texture brushes recently created.
65 layers and 2 and an embedded Affinity Photo file with another 5 layers mixed with coffee and a couple of late nights ….and this is the crazy result…

No Problem...The latest beta version has indeed presented a number of issues with tablets...BUT that's what beta versions are for... :) ...
Hopefully it will not infringe too much on the development of this awesome software
-
AD Beta has similar issues with .ABR import and use of Wacom Tablet to AP As Posted by verysame SONB and in Affinity Photo Customer Beta - 1.5.2.66
Tested with just random import of PSD brushes
1. Lagging on brush use
2. Brush Nozzle flickering on screen
3. Incredibly slow response time
4. Pix-elated brush edges
5. Brush nozzle/image defaulting to arrow cursor
Forced application restart using Task Manager with AD pretty much locked up and un-usable

Happy to try and help :)
Interesting Problem though ..I have been trying to recreate the issue and make the slices create odd sizes; but I couldn't ...without physically setting the slice size. maybe it's just a Mac issue
I did find another problem but not related to an extra px.
Been reading your bug report..MEB is one of the best living resources on the forum! I am sure he will get to the bottom of it
2500 icons ..that's a lot of work and must be frustrating being held up..hopefully only briefly
-
and check in transform panel to make sure each is 64x64 not 64.1 or 64.5
-
When I had an issue like this I manually adjusted the slice to fix.. it in my case making sure each one was 200x200px (Size of my brush nozzles)
Do all the slices show the same size in Export Persona? i.e. 64x64;displaying on the 'blue bar' on top of slice. Before you export them
Do any have outlines? Are any of the graphics lying outside the slice area?
I know that I had to modify a few slices by zooming in and snapping to grid

Hi Jonopen..No its not just you.. I noticed a few issues last night when I installed it!.. It seems to be related to Wacom + Pen . I get the same response ..You can sue the Mouse but not the Tablet... :)
-
Probably related to previous Post (AD Windows Beta 1.5.2.66 [Object Fill)
When you use the Wacom Pen to resize an artboard the 'Move Box' does not maintain the position of the actual artboard. Also getting a rectangular shape constantly flickering on the screen in the background...weird!
-
It also occurs when the panel is docked
Also getting a flicker on the changeover of the icon and updown/leftright cursor icons (displaying when using move tool can 'stick' to pen position)
-
Following Post by Jon W :[1.5.3.66] Tablet Problems
I have uninstalled all Wacom drivers (Driver 6.3.21-10); restarted and then re-installed the same Driver. Unfortunately the same issue still persist
1. Sluggish response when dragging filled vector objects
2. Content Selection Box (Move Tool)+ Wacom Pen = Selection box moves out of vector area and can get pixelated fills (As Previous screen video in Zip attachment)
3. Brush Dynamics for Accumulation Jitter and Flow Jitter seem to be more 'sensitive'
Hope this helps! :)

Hi Novak
A monster :)
System AMD FX 8350 (8Core) and AMD Radeon 16.12.2 (R9 380 Series 4GB) 24G RAM (Corsair Vengeance Memory) 3xSSD 1x 2T HD and 2x23inch screens and Windows 10 Pro
Its the first real issue I have seen. Using both Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer (commercial versions) Both working Fine. Except for since upgraded new Wacom Drivers ( 6.3.21-10) I have noticed that the Brush Dynamics for Accumulation Jitter and Flow Jitter are not as smooth in AD 1.5.2.58
