wow awesome.
but wouldnt it be easier to put them all into one zip or just upload the afbrushes directly?
Thanks for liking them...
You may be right!.
I think my little project is no longer small and is going to need a rethink soon!
As it is now quite substantial bigger it may be worth consolidating brushes into larger packs..(eek more work!) ..and I haven't finished this section yet :)
I found that having loads of brushes makes for a long scrolling list.
Been trying to avoid it and really create a library where you can select what you want to use and copy to your own category
it would be nice to just upload the brushes as afbrush files but the forum restricts that :( !

Thanks Mark and the Affinity Team!
Fantastic progress
I am so impressed how quickly this software is evolving...so many changes in a short space of time..do you guys ever sleep? :D

Wow, thanks. Again!
I really have to put some of these to use on an upcoming project.
I am honoured that you have found a use for them.
The most recent brushes have 'evolved' significantly from by first feeble efforts a few months ago :)

More Fantastic Work!..thank you.. :)
I immediately noticed a couple of things... [AD]
1. a bit odd..the Colour Well ...on the colour palette appears to have a pix elated grainy border and looks smaller than previous versions. Whereas on the active version [1.5.3.69] it is a smooth line.
2. Dragging objects with Wacom pen is still leaving artefacts on screen as you drag an object.
3. In Text Style Palette: Adding/Switching on 'display samples' Degrades the visible text in Panel (Strong Emphasis sample 5pt) is almost un-readable

Good brush! Thank you!
Pleased you like them...I have some more to upload :)

I think this brush set needed a little extra work as it really has so much more potential for expansion
Experimented with using just stippling (a little bit of Pointillism!) to create a more subtle texture pattern effect and adjusted the brush dynamics (mostly flow and accumulation)
New brush sets attached
- Alfred, retrograde, pixelramen and 2 others

No need for apologies, Stuart! Your great generosity isn't in any way attenuated by the amount of time that has passed since you created the brushes!! ;)
Thank You Alfred and much appreciated :)

Project Brush Set 20 Pattern Brush Sets
Updated the brush set to version 2Changes/improvements as below
Version 2.0
1. Removed old versions redundant now..
2. All nozzles are now vector based replacing previous raster versions (as much as possible)
3. Replaced some of the older Base Patterns with some organics (set 04)
4. The old brush set was appearing darker and less intense with 1.7/1.8 update...I have fixed that with this version!
5. Updated the Sample sheets to latest layout (included ref to updated/new patterns).
6. Organised the sets into groups of 30 (Group 01 x4)
7. Added a generic set of brush Nozzles for texture variation (These are repeated across all sets)
8. Included sample sheets of base patterns
9. 19 new base texturesArchived the Older Brush set and updated Library information

Thank you.. I will investigate! :)

I like the concept! It would certainly improve the capability of the Brush Nozzles but may I extend the concept with the ability to re-order the sequenced Brush Nozzles after uploading.
Currently you have to manually organise the sequence on import.

Nice.

Hope you find them useful

A First Foray...wow!..puts me to shame!. Really like the colour choice and design.
Would be good to see similar design outside the 'k' boundary restriction...if you know what I mean :)

You are welcome..A similar request was made in the forum some time ago...and I came across it... :) with the help of Google of course!

Hi Medium Solid
Just a suggestion..and it may not be what you are looking for... you could try running it through
I tried it with your sample...at 2x (exported as Jpeg ) from Affinity Designer first..reduces the artifacts significantly but still might not give you the resolution you require

Getting really hard, Stuart? Apart from the trivial case of the very first one you see, which has to be your favourite so far, it's always been hard! ;)
Good question Alfred....
eejitius umbilicumumium
eejitus youlookyumium
eejitus eh
I think....the last one as its reminds me of well Me when I finished the latest set of brushes at 4 in the morning! :)
