  1. Hi... Graduations can be a bit 'clunky' ..Subtle blends are sometimes better....Try to keep the colour changes on graduated nodes similar/subtle...[not really the case in this instance] Try layering the gradient ..and make use of the transparency tool You can get more subtle effects this way 1 Layer red to dark layer (keep the spacing between nodes/steps wide) ..will improve the blending 2. Create an additional layer/s with even darker colour [also graduated] [try mixing colours-dark blue over red can be effective]. (Make use of transparency here) a. set centre to fully transparent (0%) and again keep the nodes/steps wide apart (help with blend smoothing) 3. Repeat 2 for effect and or experiment with layer blend settings to improve depth of colour. 4. Use groupings of the above in layers panel.. This will allow more flexibility in choosing colours (and you can apply transparency/graduated blends) 4 Try a grunge vector overlay set almost transparent (apply group rasterization if you need to....)
  2. Been playing with the texture paint brushes again...and sharing the result! Mostly Pixel Persona! Original size 300 x 300mm (300dpi)
  3. Yet more awesome work... good choice of colour works well
  4. I did notice the speed improvement. Even though they cannot be expanded. I am sure it's certainly a useful technique for raster work.
  5. Just built a few brushes using your technique..interesting method and it is certainly quick and smooth. Also gives you the option of adding 'distress' (irregular edges) to a brush. Something that would be very useful. The only downside is that you do not appear to be able to expand the stroke!
  6. Excellent...I hope you them useful....These new brush collections were originally based upon a larger set. You might find: Texture Brushes [Dots] and Texture Brush [Organics 1] Useful as well I have been watching your portrait painting evolve...very impressive!

  8. Project Brush Set 03 Big-T Used to create Big-T Updated the brush set to version 2 Should work much better now! Changes/improvements as below Version 2.0 1. Removed old versions redundant now.. 2. Made significant changes to the brush dynamics and nozzles. All nozzles are now vector based replacing previous raster versions (as much as possible) 3. There is a significant number of new nozzles for the brushes Which means they are not like original sets.. 4. Made use of the 1.7/1.8.2 brush engine in AD/AP using subBrushes. 5. The old brush set was appearing darker and less intense with 1.7/1.8 update...I have fixed that with this version! 6. Updated the Sample sheets to newer (latest) layout..Sub brushes are displayed in red. Archived the Older Brush set and updated Library information Raster Brushes ProjectBrush 03-Big-T V2.zip
