  1. Yeah!...and 52%..fantastic news...not over yet though!
  2. What a difference a day makes! I am seeing 26%/45%/9%/20%
  3. Maybe!.... It might have been better to keep this tread visible at the front of the Forum....There is an 8 hour gap in quotes/replies... ...still Hopefully AD will win
  4. I thought this was going to be an easy victory..but it's slipped back today...AFFINITY needs more votes!
  5. Alfred is quite correct. The Brush Dynamics can be used to control the rotation and direction If you set Dynamics:Rotation to Direction the brush nozzle will follow the direction of stroke. Set to 100% for full effect and/or adjust the value(%) for effect. Sometimes you can get a better result of the patterning (texture) by tweaking the slider or combining with rotation position in General:Rotation Also consider the 'weight'/shape of the graph: a. Set for slow build up ('concave' shape like easeIn or easeInSIne/Cubic) or linear b. Rapid build up ('s-shape' easeInOut or easeOutSine) Dynamics:Rotation:Random would however be more effective on these types of brushes
  6. Magnificent!...You are just getting better and better.... Impressive detailing..and I like the textures....
  7. Added new set of Project Brushes for Monster Club Link as below: Project Brush Assets Monster Club
  8. Added Project Set 5 Sharing a new collection of brushes A streamlined set of 30 brushes used to create 'Monster Club' and composed from mixed sources in the Brush Library + new brushes edited/redesigned to assist with painting Replaced original brushes used for creating Monster Club (first AD project!) with completely new set using better brush dynamics and recent nozzles. A lot of 'low flow' brush dynamics here to help build up pattern texture PDF sample sheet as attached Enjoy! PROJECT BRUSH - Monster Club 01 01.pdf ProjectBrush-MonsterClub.zip
  9. Added a set of vector Assets (7 subcategories) based on this drawing Link as below Vector Asset Library Enjoy
  10. Assets from [Screech] inktober #09 Sharing a selection of vector assets Asset List subCategory List 35 Feathers 8 Fill texture patterns 14 Texture Groups 19 Texture Overlays 11 Trees/partial 13 Leaves 11 shapes Asset Sample Sheets PDF sample Sheet x2 (not all assets displayed) Single asset file with 7 subcategories Samples as displayed (had to change colour of some assets in library as don't display well on grey backgrounds) Also embedded repeating patterns (x2) had to be inserted to assets as group rather than embedded file (which is how I usually use them.) Enjoy! Hope you find them useful Vector Assets 01 01.pdf Vector Assets 01 02.pdf vectorAssets-Screech.zip
  11. Added a set of vector styles based on drawing Link as below Style Assets Inktober Vectors Enjoy
  12. Added 60 styles based on Screech Vector drawing (inktober#09 ) Vector Styles 02 01.pdf Vector Styles 02 02.pdf vectorStyles-02.zip
  13. Ok I will not ask about conical fills.... But... I noticed that if you add a graduation into a say semi circle object; then mirror the semi circle; the original graduation is 'not mirrored' and is left outside the object boundary in its original position...You have to manually re-position the graduation everytime!...would this be covered in your 1.7 updates?
  14. Thank you!.. i must admit it can be a slow process for me
  15. Screech Just sharing the latest crazy drawing! based on Inktober:09 All vector reconstruction of sketch started in Sketchbook Pro 8.5 last year Completed in AD using just vectors Size = 200 x 200 mm (300dpi)
  16. Wow Thanks!..I think I will need a bit more practice to get to his standard...and get a bit faster..
  17. There are 2 parts to this brush set: Vegetation brush Set 2
  18. It would but looking at the artwork the patterning/texture appearance is a combination of several brushes...The Texture Paint Brush set would be ideal...for that job...The 'suckers' might be an issue...but there is a thread where this very thing is discussed using a vector/raster brush: Texture Painters Tentacle Brush
  19. Raster Brushes Added a collection of 30 Raster brushes used for the painting in the Forum/Resources section... Project Brush Assets
  20. Project Brush Set 04 Ammonite Used to create Ammonite Hotel Updated the brush set to version 2...I can draw some more Ammonites now! Changes/improvements as below Version 2.0 1. Removed old versions redundant now.. 2. Made significant changes to the brush dynamics and nozzles. All nozzles are now vector based replacing previous raster versions (as much as possible) 3. There is a significant number of new nozzles for the brushes Which means they are not like original sets.. 4. Made use of the 1.7/1.8.2 brush engine in AD/AP using subBrushes. 5. The old brush set was appearing darker and less intense with 1.7/1.8 update...I have fixed that with this version! 6. Updated the Sample sheets to newer (latest) layout..Sub brushes are displayed in red. Updated for Affinity 2 but retained version 1 brush set Affinity 01Affinity 01: Original Brush set (Sample sheet removed)Affinity 02Affinity 02: Updated version 2 set with adjustment to dynamics to include Distance and Interpolate (Sample sheet as below). Updated Texture bases to new versions extracted from PB 19 Inker Archived the Older Brush set and updated Library information Sample Sheets Brushes Affinity Version 01 ProjectBrush-Ammonite V2.zip Affinity Version 02 PB 04 - Ammonite A2.zip
