  1. Added some Styles used in the drawing into the Resources Section: Vector Styles [Poison]
  2. Added 90 styles based on Poison Vector drawing (inktober#03 ) 60 Graduation styles 30 Overlay tints Vector Styles 03 01.pdf Vector Styles 03 02.pdf Vector Styles 03 03.pdf Poison.zip Poison-Tints.zip
  3. You could also try a couple of other things 1. Set up file as separate size as suggested (Then use embed file)..this way you keep the original but can edit (make different!) the embedded content 2. You could set up a blank file with objects set to the size of the template and convert them to Artboards as required [This is interchangable] 3. Nest Artboards with specific sizes in layers panel (works pretty well with embedded files with multiple pages) I was forgetting to add with embedded files you can use them to store different artboard sizes. Them be selective about which page you import in the context menu...
  4. Fantastic news..and completely deserved after all the hard work by the Serif Team and support from the Forum Members.....
  5. Nice!....You may have to be patient.....
  6. Finally added the Paint/Sketching brushes to this group of Texture Brushes This set is more orientated towards sketching/drawing rather than adding texture patterns..not all have base patterning in the dynamics...but are built around the original set..hope you find them useful 30 new brushes added Sample PDF as attached TxPB 1 Set 1.pdf TexturePaintBrush - 01 - A.zip
  7. Yeah!....you are not wrong...... But I really enjoyed working on this one even though it took me a couple of weeks (not everyday!)...I employed the same principles to [Screech] but obviously was a much smaller project. I have really been impressed with the way AD performed... and it's just gets better with every new build ....just and example of what can be achieved...looking forward to @Ben Mammoth project being integrated in next version..awesome!...stuff. It does look more complex than it actually is. The small section of 'background scaled' can be used to explain some of the process: Sections built separately of which the above example is just one, These are then combined/layered in a master drawing (either as group or embedded file) moved to embedded files as eventually was slowing down when adding vector objects..but I was really impressed with how the Software coped with so many vector objects..nice! 1. It has a repeating pattern base pasted into a shaped coloured vector object. These were originally created for the Texture Paint Brushes (There are [720+240 sketch] of these brushes I only uploaded 120!) I used Symbols to create a lot of patterns that tessellate for the Base Texture of brushes...I gives you the advantage of scaling and repeating block building without too much extra work...apart from having to break the symbol link to edit and re-colour. I added a small number of these as resources recently [Texture Paint Brush Assets] 2. Add overlay of hand drawn grass objects...re-colour, overlap and vary opacity for effect (Creating a viable grass look puzzled me for a while!) 3. Add overlay of hand drawn /plant/mushrooms objects. remembering to set internal objects to scale with parent (omit using outlines) These extend beyond lower patterns to make it more realistic 4. Adjust transparency for each object to blend into lower layers 5. Use subtle (paste inside) tinted/transparent directional blends into larger stacked objects for depth and variety(This can be a bit time-consuming.) Mushrooms and Plants are all hand drawn...This take some time....but once you have all the vector objects it is easier to experiment with something visual.(like building your own garden) There was only a couple annoying issues a. had to keep turning off the lighting effects layers as they are full screen rectangles with blends to try to mimic lighting effects in AP (Setting effect to Glow or linear light seemed to work best for me) b. Zooming into small objects kept blurring screen and returning to sharp vector..I think something along those lines were addressed in latest beta...(It was a bit too late to switch to beta version for this drawing...) Looking forward to the next one!
  8. There is a full set of these brushes here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/55202-texture-paint-brushes-group-1-4-120480/
  9. Section of background Scaled....
  10. Added Wireframe File incomplete at this stage as had to move to Embedded Files to speed things up
  11. Thanks....It was challenging!...I will put up some wireframes
  12. Thanks.....10 vectors...I dream of only 10 vectors!
  13. Thanks MEB...I enjoyed doing the detailing...but the lighting was a bit of a pain!...I resisted the temptation to take it into AP and use the lighting filter..but found you can mimic it using layer effects settings and graduated fills.
  14. Thanks for this really useful resource....been actively using the Learning resources already.....Should evolve into something unique...keep it up
  15. Poison So impressed with AD....had to resort to embedded files with this one but handled 1000's of vector objects brilliantly.. Again based on a sketch from 2017 Inktober Project All vector 420 x 200 mm 300dpi
  16. Fantastic project...and a bit of fun (frustration!) Took me some time to find them all on the first one!..must be blind... Grandad+ objects in second image...a bit quicker
  17. ...It was only by chance I found it...I don't normally spend my time reading them...!
  18. Thanks for the latest Beta....more testing Like the New UI installer...seems quicker.... Actually read the EULA....point 25 has a spelling error!
  19. I have added a second set below containing the branches and leaves from inktober:Juicy reworking... Wood assets...unfortunately no..but good idea for project
  20.
