Are these brush sets available commercially?

    Hi

I have not made these brushes available to anyone yet!.. Sort of still being worked on!.. There is texture set to go with these that is incomplete and there are a lot of vector assets I need to add for the Wall.

However.. There are some samples above and in the the 'Halloween Paint me thingy'. I linked in to some of the Free Sample Sets. The Zombie Brushes here are the closest to the extensive brush set above as they are built using the same principles using Distance and Direction Dynamics as part of the brush effects!

Still working on the Base Textures as above. The Pattern assets can also easily be used as a base for any brush. The basic idea was to use any base texture on any brush.. Sort of infinite possibilities. I used this in the Inker Pattern Set [PB 31]. Which you can freely download to try out

    Thank you for the clarification!

At this point, I expect to be well behind most Affinity users for a couple of years until I can afford to further upgrade my hardware (and software), hence my concern.

It's not a problem... I try to keep the brushes up-to-date but it is difficult to change all the sets continuously.. Especially when I don't need to. These brushes work in older versions and 2.4 (I just tried it)..I could not see a reason why they shouldn't... in short the recent changes to the brush dynamics don't really effect these types of brushes.

Luckily!..as there are actually 6 brush sets associated with Project Brush 08 alone. (3 Painting sets and 3 ink set version). I did not upload them all!... Also I personally believe that the updated Texture Painters | Grass Brushes | Comic Brush Sets | Concept Sets (Untamed) and latest renditions of Inkers (Including those for 'The Wall') are much better sets.. I use them a lot...but unfortunately are not available on the forum. with the exception of a few samples.. But a lot of the 'Inkers' now make use of Distance in the Brush Dynamics

You're saying these brushes are now available only for users of AD 2.whichever version?

I don't think so. You are confusing version 2 brush set with Version 2 Affinity Apps!.....This set should work fine in version 1 and 2. The Brush tools and dynamics have evolved significantly between Versions 1. 1.7, 1.10, 2.0, 2.4. In consequence a number of the brush sets were updated to reflect this. Notably the introduction of sub-brushes. Version 2 Apps have witnessed improvements to the dynamics as well as visible appearance and functionality of the brush panels; dynamics etc..

Sub-brushes can be used to erase and blend and also a valuable feature addition allowing you to effectively 'randomize the results of the brush nozzle as it paints.
'Distance Dynamics' is a fantastic addition allowing you to effectively control how the brush responds over prolonged use...However this feature would not affect these types of brushes as they are in essence pattern generators. When using this it is important to manipulate the graph controller.

    Hope this helps!
