Picnicmetoo got a reaction from JustMeJ in Workbook for Affinity for Ipad
JustMeJ, I have used the tutes for the Mac version (I actually have it but much prefer using the Ipad version) and figured out the techniques—more or less.  I guess I’ll continue to do the same or come here for help when I can’t figure it out.

Picnicmetoo got a reaction from malyKeri in Open RAW from Photos/thank you
This is more a thank you than a question. i updated Afffinity Photo for Ipad this afternoon and read all the update statements and learned I could not only identify a RAW in Photos but also open it from there instead of Icloud Drive. Works great, thanks for updating in response to many requests so quickly.

Definitely +1 for the ability to open the RAW file from the Photos app - I would love to be able to edit RAW while travelling and I can't rely on internet connections to upload images to cloud storage - it does seem rather ridiculous that this is the option that's being suggested when many other apps are able to open the RAW file directly. I'm hoping this is actually a bug rather than a feature!

OK. But Lightroom for iPad has no problem opening raw files imported into the Photos app (using my SD card reader dongle). And even Readdle Documents for iPad (a file manager of sorts), although it cannot display raw files, will pass them to Affinity Photo via the "share" extension AS RAW rather than as JPEG. If the raw passes through the share extension I'm really puzzled that it will not open directly!

Serif has created a wonderful product here, but not being able to import from LOCAL storage is a major deficit for me, especially on the road (the only time I need to process raws on the iPad).

I hope your developers will re-address this.
