Thank you for clearing that up. Where do I get safe 3rd party plugins for Affinity?

This just shows the filters.

Should I be concerned about a default folder? Where should it be located?

I got the forward slash, but still no plugins showing up. I tried it twice more. Nothing

same thing, again. I tried all that several times before. One time before contacting you I was able to get a forward slash on the support folder line, but never again.

It failed to do so, here is a the image before I closed the window.

When I open ‘Grab’ to do a screenshot the Affinity preferences / plugins window it disappears. John

I have tried everything to connect with plugins from CS3 and NIK, working from 'Affinity Photo Help' and using online suggestions, and youtube videos. Is my Application not working like it should?

Thank you, R-CR. I had actually tried that once, not realizing there was an option at the bottom of the window that could enable me to select the application AP, which AP was greyed out. The two options being 'recommended' or 'all' the applications. Selecting 'all' gave me access to AP. I hope it will be set to open any future saved files from AP.

Yesterday, I purchased Affinity from the AppStore. I opened a photo, worked on it, saved it to my desktop as affinity file, closed Affinity, then double clicked my desktop file, when it failed to open in my prior Affinity Beta app, so I trashed that version and tried again, only this time it was trying to open in Skitch. I trashed Affinity and installed it again from the AppStore. I still have the same problem. HELP!!!!! Thank you. I am using Affinity 1.4.2 on OS 10.10.5 dadsdance 2.afphoto
