  1. Looks really good Paolo. I like the style. It has a 50's cartoon vibe (at least for me). Keep us updated with the progress of your work with this game.
  2. @RealSparky: Depending on if you used certain functions (like the Dreamweaver-Templates) there are some great alternatives to Dreamweaver. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post some examples here (it's not really a competition, but still kinda '3rd party ad', so I guess not) but if you wanna have some suggestions, leave me a private message.
  3. Hello guys, Just a humble suggestion for improving the user interface. I noticed that the toolbar has no hover effects on the tool-icons. This makes navigation a little bit less comfortable than on certain competition programs. I also noticed that the behavior of button is quite different from button to button. So what do you think of making a very subtle hover effect on the tools and buttons as you already have on (some of) the buttons in the top bar (beneath the menu)? Though the effect there is a little bit to weak, so I'd enchance it a little more. Some Buttons are great in that case (for example the little icons for layer effects, mask layer etc. in the layer panel but some don't have any (for example the dropdown-icon (opacity,...) or the 'Properties'-button in the stroke panel. I attached a little screenshot as an example for the hover effect. before (without (easy visible) hover effects): after (with (enhanced) hover effects): Cheers, Jay
  4. Hello everyone :) *waves* My name is Jay and I'm a screen designer and hobbyist-digital artist from Switzerland. I'm a windows user and was so happy when Serif announced that Affinity is coming to windows. I am - as a lot of 'affinities' - a long time user of Adobe products who isn't happy with the recent development and monetizing strategy they're went for. In my opinion Adobe has reached their zenith and are waaay overpriced. And after some research I stumbled over the Affinity products (back then there was no windows development announced yet) and got them on my radar. There are still some functions missing but it feels so smooth to use it and especially in my personal work i have a blast. Later - when there is a stable release - I plan to converte in my job as well. :) Can't wait to see what the future (of Affinity) brings us. Thanks for leading us into the light. ;)
  5. Hello you lovely people, I'm the new one. :) First of all: You can't imagine how happy I am that AD is now available (Beta) on PC. You guys rock the socks and AD will be (and already is) a wonderful tool to work with. So smooth, so useful. I just had to get a +1 on the 'offset-path'-feature in here, as this is a function I use a lot on a daily basis. PS: Sorry for gravedigging this thread out of its rest.
