  1. Hello guys!

I got tired of going to Layer > Geometry > Add/Substrac/Divide/etc., and Arrange then Flip Horizontally/Vertically, so I went to the customize toolbar to add those shortcuts and I only could add the Geometry operations but not the Flip (Transform Operations). It's like a missing feature. It's available on Designer though. Will you add this in the next update? Thanks.

We need Affinity Animator to take on Adobe's monopoly on Motion Design w/ After Effects. There simply isn't a decent alternative to what After Effects does. Moho 12 can replace the need for most 2D animation done in AE for about the price of an After Effects plugin but there is so much more utility that needs to be covered.

    Yes!

  3. Same here. Jagged stroke/outline in free form vector shapes and built-in shapes (circle, etc.). It's happening since the first beta. This is a huge bug, it doesn't happen in any other vector program (Gimp, Inkscape)....

At first I noticed it with circles. I drew circles and noticed that the stroke was jagged... then when I drew free form shapes, I noticed it again.

I purchased both AD and AP. I hope you solve this soon. :/

  4. Hello guys.

Designer is lacking big time a Distort and Warp (for text) tools. When are we going to get it? It's a very important feature.
The feature is already present in Photo, but it rasters the layer. No good.

This has been asked many times, I hope for the next Designer important update we have it already. Merry Christmas!

  5. Thanks Sean P, with "bump" I mean doing a new thread and just linking the olds threads with the same topic. This issue is annoying because, sometimes your work with vectors and add transparency tool, but sometimes you work with raster layers, and you are used to the transparency tool, then when you see nothing happens you remember "oh, the exception", then hit UNDO and "bam!", unhandled exception error message.

  6. I use DaVinci Resolve (Windows 8.1), but it freezes all the time. It crashed once, and I could't export my movie with the CineForm codec (I downloaded it and added the .dll's in the Resolve folder). Then I chose Uncompressed, I managed to export, but no video, only audio.

So last night I tested Hitfilm4 Express, and it worked like a charm.

And as a curious fact, I didn't know about Apple Motion when I came up with "Affinity Motion" name. Anyway, if Serif decides building an Keyframe Animator/Video editor it would be awesome and useful for us Windows users.

  7. Hello again,

This time I come to beg for a Affinity 'After Effects/Premier' alternative. A lot of people would purchase it (including myself) without blinking! We want to be freed from Adobe for once and for all!

And Affinity Motion would be a nice name. You can reply to this thread and suggest other names, and help me spread this petition!

I already purchased Designer for Windows today. And I'm testing the Photo beta and will purchase the final release when it comes out. Also waiting desperatedly for Publisher.

    Other names:

    - Affinity FX

    - Affinity Animator
    - Affinity Video Editor
    - Affinity Transition
    - Affinity Tween
    - Affinity Timeline

(I love Affinity Motion and Affinity FX)

Please, please, please, spread my voice and consider making this happen!

  8. Would be bad if they release the final build without this Unhandled Exception fixed. If they decide not to allow Transparency Tool on rastered layeres, they should at least to show a message when it is applied. The Unhandled Exception error happens when you hit UNDO after applied the TT on a rastered layer. How can I bump this thread? Or is just a moderator thing? Thank you.
