I want to see improvements for the panel swatches. It is very useful to see its numeric value next to the color name in the current color mode.

Problems with geometry transformation continue in new releases.
Also upsetting is the appearance of a large number of unnecessary nodes.
I really hope that the developers will overcome these bugs.

I have just one question. In Poland the Corel Draw is pretty popular between printing houses and graphic designers. Do you plan to add support for Corel Draw file format someday in future? Or is this not possible?

Well...Here in Brazil, as far as I know, CorelDRAW has a lot more users then Illustrator. Every single designer, print house, graphic worker use CorelDRAW. They can use Illustrator, InDesign, Xara, QuarkXpress, Sketch, you name it, but all they will use CorelDRAW also.

I'm CorelDRAW user since version 10 (I think the year was 2000/2001...) and I'm migrating all my old jobs to AD. And the new ones I'm using only AD instead.

But that's a long road to AD on this Brazilian market... migrating from one software to another (to work professionally) is not an easy decision and making. The learning curve is only one of the problems. PDF exchange can solve most of the problems, but not all.

So, just to think, if I could open all my .CDR and start working from that...professionally...it would be nice. Really nice. I made my decision and I will drop all software I used to work with (until the license permits) and I'll use only AD and AF from now. but it's me...

But for most of people that use CorelDRAW, if they could open and work on their files natively, will be mutch more appealling.

Does anybody know any tool which helps me to create Fonts with Affinity Designer?

hello: is possible Display the color space in the top of the document in both programs (like photoshop)?

Please can you add OCR in Affinity Designer and Publisher, I would also like to have the ability to create PDF form. Then Adobe Acrobat Pro can really kicked out the door. I am a mac user and there are not really good alternatives to it at this moment.

This also applies to the stable version (1.6.5) and is independent of the file. For the test, I checked the same file in Affinity Designer and Xara Designer Pro X10, which performs this operation in 1-2 seconds. I hope in new versions this feature will finally be working adequately.

Very necessary tool to indicate the size of the objects, similar to CorelDraw.
As well as panels with information about the geometry of the current object: area, perimeter, curve length, etc.

One of the biggest features i used in illustrator and tend to miss greatly in designer is the ability to individually align points.  I'd like to see the ability to not only be able to individually align points, but also to be able to group and distribute/transform them as well.  Its a major help in the tracing and cleaning up process!

Actually, we can change numerical value by clicking in the value field and using mouse wheel. Nice.
But, TheFoundry Nuke has a thing that is even a lot better : it change the numerical value according to where is the cursor in the field !
 
Let's say you have a value 100
 
with cursor 100| the wheel will do 101/102/103
with cursor 10|0 the wheel will do 110/120/130
with cursor 1|00 the wheel will do 200/300/400
 
This is extremely powerful, precise and fast ! Would love to see this in AP B)

at the moment it is possible to place an external Designer-File and embedded it in the Document. 
But then the File is embedded within the Document. Changes of the external File doesn´t appear. 
 
A placing Option like in InDesign or Word would be nice, where you can choose if you want to embed or link the File, you want to place.
Changes in the external File would also appear in the Document where it is included if linked.
 
Maybe your working on such a Feature already for the Affinity Publisher ;-) 
 
When I edit the embedded File / Layer, there is also no option to save that as a new Document.
(In Photoshop you can Save a Smart-Object as new PSD-File if needed.) 
 
For now its only possible to copy the Content, create a new Document and paste it there, if I want to get the Content out of a embedded File.
