  1. Thank you so much for your incredible efforts. What a great program and update! I can confirm Panasonic LUMIX GX80/85 now opens RAW files correctly, even when the Serif Labs Engine is selected by default in the Photo Persona Develop Assistant :)
  2. I would suggest to delete the camera from the "Serif Labs RAW engine" compatibility list, to not cause any confusion. Ideally when opening in Affinity Photo the engine would then default to Apple RAW engine until a working Serif Labs profile is created. Would be a pity if we would miss such a profile as it potentially offers higher quality and corrections.
  3. Thank you for the tip! That actually worked. Depending on the camera however, I have to adjust the settings every time (would be great to "store" and link profiles to a camera). OK, but better than not working at all :) This workaround should become very prominent in the FAQ's. My guess is, that the GX80/85 is not the only one affected. RAW profiles seem to be a tricky issue.
  4. PLEASE!!! Update the RAW support for Panasonic LUMIX GX80/85 or give an option to use the Apple RAW profiles. They are unusable with this tint (Affinity Photo 1.5 RC5)! You would need to convert the RAW files in another app to be able to edit them in Affinity Photo.
  5. Panasonic Lumix GX80/85 RAW files are still unusable in Affinity 1.5 RC4 because of the strong magenta/pinkish tint. If you are not able to prepare a profile for 1.5 release, please offer the option to revert to the Apple RAW profile which works fine.
  6. Unfortunately, the RAW Engine is still not fixed for Panasonic LUMIX GX80/85. Affinity 1.4.3 works fine and shows no magenta/pinkish tint. Will this issue be resolved before 1.5 is released? Right now the files are unusable with the Beta.
  7. Opened Panasonic LUMIX GX80/85 RAW files with RC2. The strong magenta/pinkish tint is still there! How bad is this tint you may ask? Right now the RAW files are unusable with Affinity.
  8. Maybe I oversaw something. I really like the new Stacking (HDR & Focus) options in Affinity Photo 1.5. However, I find it a bit counterintuitive that I cannot select photos I have already opened in Affinity Photo, but I need to look for them in the Finder. This is not simply a matter of convenience, though. Right now there is no control over adjustments etc. on an individual picture level, right? The HDR/Focus pulls the originals from the drive (I use RAW). What if I need to make adjustments to perfect the stacking? E.g. I have two pictures which should be focus stacked, but one is slightly brighter than the other. I can clone, but I would see a shift in brightness in these areas. Right now I have to open both, adjust them and save them as TIFF's (losing some information), only to reopen them again within Focus Merge. Of course, there are many other adjustments which might be useful. It might also be an idea to start from "New Stack" and then after making the adjustments transform this stack into an HDR or Focus merged composite. Does this make sense? Kind Regards, Stefan
  9. Hi, Is there a direct feedback channel for the Affinity Photo 1.5 Beta I may have missed? If yes, please let me and others know. What a great update! So we are supposed to test before the final release. Just discovered an issue with RC1 and Panasonic GX80/85 RAW files. They appear to have a strong Magenta/Pinkish tint. Opened the same in Affinity Photo 1.4.3 and they look great. Nikon RAW (D750) however, seem not to be affected. Cheers, Stefan
  10. Excellent. Actually I was considering the same. I did not particularly like LR, but I had to replace Aperture. After some testing I recently switched to C1 and I do not regret it. I also use DxO Optics Pro / Film / ViewPoint and the NIK collection. With Affinity taking care of Pano, HDR and Focus Stacking there is for me no need to return to LR anymore.
  11. I am not on the Beta, but this is great news. Is Affinity finally able to safe/export not only with the ".tiff" ending but also with ".tif"? So is it a real round trip (C1 exports TIFF as Variant -> Affinity reads/saves/exports as .tif -> C1 recognizes the updated .tif Variant?) Right now it is quite cumbersome when using C1 Pro.
