nohnigeMummw73 reacted to Andy Somerfield in Affinity TV - Beta Testers Required!
Hello!
We've got a new app coming out - for the latest generation Apple TV (Late 2015)!
It's a learning / teaching tool for users of Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer.
For now, it simply contains all our video tutorial content from the website / Vimeo. We'll of course be adding more focussed, appropriate content over time. We'll also be doing a better job of categorising the content and grouping it together.
If you have an Apple TV (Late 2015) and would like to beta test this new tool - please email tv@seriflabs.com and tell us your email address (the email must be associated with an active Apple ID) - we'll then add you to the TestFlight beta program and you should receive further installation instructions.
Thanks!
Andy.

nohnigeMummw73 reacted to Dale in Apple Design Award for Affinity Designer
Hi everyone
We're over the moon to announce that Affinity Designer has been recognised by Apple with a prestigious Apple Design Award at WWDC 2015 in San Francisco. Congratulations to the whole SerifLabs team for such a remarkable achievement, 5 years in the making.
It's the stuff of dreams, thanks to all our fans and forum participants for helping to make it an awesome reality.

nohnigeMummw73 reacted to Absar in More Workspace Options
Hi,
When I posted these remarks in a different thread, I was advised to post these requests here.
Currently AD and AP offer two kind of workspaces: Docked and Separated.
The Docked workspace neither allows docking the tool palette on the right side, nor does it allow multiple columns of palettes docked to each other.
The 'Separated Mode' does not remember the size of previously saved document on re-opening and every time the document title bar hides beneath the control palette. Then, the only way to access the title bar in order to maximise the window or minimise it in the dock, one must utilise 'Toggle UI' command.
The 'Separated Mode' also does not allow docking the 'Tools' palette to the Studio palettes, or multiple columns of Studio palettes docked to each other.
Besides the fact that I am used to setting up my workspaces this way for over a decade now, according to a research, it is also more efficient for right-handed people to keep palettes and tools on the right side.
Thanks in advance!
