exporting tagged text and importing it seems like a trivial thing, but in many cases it's very useful. In my case I interact with database. Tagged text that updates in the document is a great thing, but it's missing. Not being able to import excell is also a problem. Logically for us users there is only one term of comparison. There are functions that become fundamental in a workflow. To use Affinity I must necessarily have a structure that allows me to do this step.

it would be useful to be able to link external tables. Excell table with price list. I amount the tables and formats them in Publisher with styles. If I update the prices, the linked tables also update in Affinity.

with smart styles you can format dates automatically by recognizing them. You can define a list of names ... for example all the months and make the month a title, you can make the date numbers be defined differently ... for example for a calendar, you can make that every time a certain name appears, that of a company, it is bold and maybe colored ... in short, the styles conceived in this way save a lot of time. Affinity is prodigious and I really want it to come to that.

I know to ask something that I have already asked other times, but the vectorization of an image is a basic function for many features so I allow myself to recoil the request: this is a function that I could not give up and go through the web or other applications actually tell Affinity that the program as it is not enough to perform its tasks. But I recognize a great value and so I hope very much to see soon the functions that we can no longer give up even on this suite from which everyone expects a lot.

let's imagine a style composed of two line aspects: a white one of 2 pt and a black (lower) one of 6 pt.
The line thus composed has the appearance of two black parallel lines. Now imagine crossing two lines with this aspect: one is superimposed on the other, and at the intersection the top line is not broken. But if I could apply the style to the line group then in the intersection you would have a real intersection and all the lines would break. This is great when, for example, we draw a path of roads.
