Hello, I've opened up a PDF file to do some markup using AD. I've done all that. Now, I want to print the first four pages. And, it won't let me. It only prints the first page, even though I specify a "range" of pages 1 through 4. How can I enable printing of more than just the first page? Thanks, Peter

Hello, I've got 8.5 x 11 pages, letter-sized pages. I've marked them up with all kinds of boxes and such. Now, some of these boxes go to the edge of the page, and, of course, if I print these pages, those boxes will be cut off. The typical "border" for a laser printer is 1/8-inch, or, 9 points. So, I'd like to make my pages bleed to accommodate these at-the-edge boxes. How can I do that with Affinity Designer? Thanks! Peter

making charts

Thank you for your response. So, when I go into the "transformation" tool, I haven't been able to use math. I've tried typing "x .5" after a value, and, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? Thanks again. -
Hello, So, I'm a bit frustrated with Illustrator's chart-making abilities. I see that Affinity doesn't pretend to do as much as Illustrator in that regard, but, I want to ask these questions. I see that there's a way to make a pie chart, easily. Now, if I'm making a comparative chart, could I duplicate one pie and then change its look through percentages? Of just value x .3, something like that? If I make a bar chart, could I duplicate a vertical rectangle and size it via percentages in the sizes template? Or, again, by just value x .4 or .5? Will Affinity have more chart-making abilities in the future? I asked about arrow making about a month ago, and, now, I see that there's an arrow-making tool. Cool. I don't believe that was there then. Thanks, Peter

Charts?

Can Affinity Designer do charts from Excel data? I'm looking for an alternative to Adobe Illustrator for this feature right now. Thanks. -

I think I've answered my own question, though I'm open to any further suggestions. After I draw my last stroke, I press the escape key. Then, I select the selection tool. Then, if I still need to draw, I select the pen tool again and continue drawing for the next object. Thanks. -

OK. Thanks. I'll try to be patient. In the meantime, I'm just drawing them with the pen tool. -
Hi, I'm a brand new user. I'm confused by the following. When I create a number of separate objects, they all seem to group with each other. And, under "layers," the "ungroup all" is grayed out. So, how do I create objects and keep them as separate objects? I'm having to destroy some of my work and start over here. No disaster, but painful. Thanks.
