@ Using the Zoom Tool/Short Cut/Menu.... Yes, I know that too, but that's not exactly a good and fast workflow then, is it? Other Programs/Raw Converters actually always have a way to quickly display the 1:1 (100%) or Fit to Window. This possibility does not exist (still not) in AP2, unfortunately. Kind regards Torsten

strange, still not working here... the download is very slow The download for AP took almost 70 minutes today from start time 11:37 😞, for AD too.. That went before always in < 1 minute Something is wrong with this server at Amazon. I have just downloaded Affinity Photo for comparison, directly from the Affinity Store. The time for this was just under a minute. Kind Regards

Hi Mark and Patrick, just tried to download this beta, but this is (nearly) impossible because of the very slow download speed from your (Amazon?) Server. This was never a problem before. Always done in few minutes.. I have tried several Browsers and made some others downloads/updates today (DXO, Adobe) without no issues.. Torsten

Hi Filter Forge, thx for the info...but :-( does not work. if I do exactly what you wrote there is no menu item available in the AP Beta Filter menu. If i copy the x64 folder from C:\Program files\Filter Forge 7\Plugin to C:\ProgramData\Affinity\Photo\1.0 (Beta)\Plugins , FF7 is available, but does not work. I then get the following error message: <class XFW::ArgumentError> The handle 00000006D39EDB50 is not a valid window handle. I have attached the BugReport and the modified Filter Forge.config file. Kind regards Yes, unknown plugin are allowed and the computer is restarted... all other filters are working

Filter Forge compatibility broken
Imprex replied to Gene R's topic in [ARCHIVE] Photo beta on Windows threads
Hi Filter Forge, I have just installed the trial version of Filter Forge 7. My very first observations, Adope PS CS6 does work fine. Affinty Photo, latest version: does not work, pls. see attachment, but is registered in the plugin menu. Affinity Photo Beta vers. 1.6.1.93: is not registered in the plugin menu. Where to find the plugin folder? -
Wow, that was a really very fast delivery. I ordered the book (german version) on Tuesday and now it is on my desk. The book makes a really good impression at first sight.

Zoom at 100% is different to other programs
Imprex replied to Imprex's topic in [ARCHIVE] Photo beta on Windows threads
100% zoom = 1:1 pixelview, that is great.. Works now as expected. Many thanks for this update. Live can be so easy ;) ... A 100% zoom at startup or fit to window choice in settings would be fine.... If now the dark, too dark user interface would be a bit brighter, that would be too good to be true. :D Maybe together with a better contrast ratio for a selected tool in the pallets (my monitor is calibrated to 130 cd/m2) Like XDP.....on both programs I have selected the filltool. Take a look at my screenshot in the attachment. -

Zoom at 100% is different to other programs
Imprex replied to Imprex's topic in [ARCHIVE] Photo beta on Windows threads
Hi MattP, but viewing in a browser on a website is after the image/photo is developed... To judge a image/foto(RAW) while developing it..imho..a 1:1 pixelview is absolut necessary, without any really inconvenient "zoom-calculatings". If you have some PCs with different Screen resolutions, the zoomfaktor will be different too...that is not comfortable.. This is, for me, one of the biggest disadvantages in AP.. Kind regards Torsten
