  1. I do tend to tilt the pencil when I draw. What is a good Wacom Intuos model?
  2. Thank you. That is one I am looking at. Looks nice and I am wondering how it compares to the Huion INSPIROY G10T Pen and Touch Wireless Graphic Drawing Tablet
  3. So far the Huion INSPIROY G10T Pen and Touch Wireless Graphic Drawing Tablet looks like a nice deal. What do you all recommend?

  5. I am looking for advice on a new tablet to draw a cartoon and children's book. I am a web designer but this will be my first attempt at designing on a tablet. What do you all use and what can you recommend? I want something good quality but not to crazy on price. Any help is appreciated. Bryan
  6. Any luck with this one? Just want to be rid of Adobe. Sorry to be pushy.
  7. I am starting to think textbox height is our issue. When you just type in a box in Fireworks in expands for text but no actual height is set. When I drag the resize text handles it actually makes a textbox size. Also, in Affinity Designer the height of those boxes will be 2561.2 px which is weird (when it should be like 500px). See new uploaded files to dropbox
  8. This is a really simple grid calculator but it works great. I can do most of this now with Affinity Designer Grids except the outside margin. Add Outside Margin and we can probably get most of it. http://gridcalculator.dk/
  9. I opened a new ticket on this to keep it clean at https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/30104-text-not-showing-when-importing-psd-in-affinity-designer/?hl=%2Btext+%2Bbox
  10. I guess in Fireworks it is the Resize Text tool. If you move it even a pixel it seems to hold position on export.
  11. See simple_resize.jpg as well as it shows all I did was drag the text box a pixel or two and now it hold position as you see in simple2.psd
  12. OK. Just uploaded tow more simple samples. Issue seems to be this. If I click and resize a text box the text will maintain it's position when exported to PSD and opened in AD (see simple2.psd). If I do not manually resize the text box as in the title of simple.png, it will cause the title text to move off canvas in simple.psd. Hope this helps with the issue.
  13. I have many more if needed. Hundreds actually so let me know. Thanks.
  14. I am desperately trying to find best way to get my old Fireworks PNG files usable in AD? I figured save as PSD would work but it does not seem to be.
  15. This one was created in Fireworks CS5 then exported to a PSD will full editability. It does open fine in Photoshop CS5 with text all in place.
  16. If I flatten the text all works fine. I just cant edit it. See attached.
  17. When importing a PSD file into AD, the text is moved off canvas. I have found no way to fix this issue so I have to leave a copy of CS5 Photoshop installed on my system. I have many PSD with this issue and most are generated from CS5. The one attached was a PSD file exported to PSD. The PSD opens fine in Photoshop CS5. mockup3.psd
  18. Has there been any progress on this issue? All the PSD files that I exported from PNG files open with the text off-canvas. Cant seem to find a fix.
  19. I was able to achieve this using guides at fixed pixel widths. Not ideal but it worked. You can get the idea in the attachment.
  20. Great ideas. That would be a great feature. I think we definitely need at a minimum outside gutter support.
