I am wondering how Affinity handles high resolution images, particularly those that are scaled?
Normally in QuarkXpress and Indesign one would place a high resolution image, scale it and prior to exporting to high resolution PDF replace the image (if the desired resolution was too low due to scaling etc) with a version that is 300 dpi at 100%
I assume this is still the case with Affinity?
If not, could someone please shed some light on the best practices for using high resolution images with the intention of obtaining a high quality PDF for print production.
Thank you.
